im so hoping for good news. that baby is ready to arrive. iv been 4/5 for the last 4 weeks and i dont even know what it means but im having a sweep tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed that she can do it and my cervix isnt too high or whatever and that it works lol please please please xxxxxxxxxx

Good luck x I haven't had a sweep so can't help you x 4/5 means baby's head is a tiny bit engaged (5/5 means baby's head is free) but don't worry about engagement-a lot of baby's don't engage until during labour x

i had sweeps with dd and it didnt make slightest difference but they can work for alot of people

FSo had my sweep. Was actually fine and didn hurt. Baby is more engaged, she could fit her finger im my cervix and felt the babies head and said that my cervix was shorter than she expected lol. So thats ok. Just going to town for a walk and then curry for dinner tonight x
