Are people planning on baby showers? I am in 2 minds. Didn't have one with my son as wasn't really a thing then. People have said I should. I don't like being center of attention and not into loads of games. I think I would prefer a relaxed thing, afternoon tea type thing xx

Think I'm just going to do an afternoon tea thing. I like that idea I've just read about where people just buy a baby book with a message in it I think that's cheap and cute x I know my friend is going to make me a blanket once we know the gender

Are you going to do the afternoon tea at home or go somewhere that does It? I can't really do at home as my son will be here with YouTube music blazing!! I did think of going somewhere but don't want people to have to pay, my Mum said she will help me pay for it so that can pay for the people who come but would have to restrict numbers as is £12 per person and would soon add up. I have a big family xx

My bestie says I have to have baby shower! After seeing friends having them actually I think it's a nice excuse for a get together when I don't see most of my friends that often xx

They are nice Betty, I don't like too many games though. The last one I we to started at 2pm and didn't get home until close to 8pm!!! It was constant games. I think it's nice to just chat and catch up with everyone xx

I would like a baby shower but want someone else to plan it for me! Lol! I think I'd like a fairly relaxed affair though with just food and chatting and chilling out.

My work has finally agreed to me wearing maternity jeans thank goodness!! I ordered what were supposed to be maternity cargo trousers but when they arrived they turned out to be velour!!! Lmao!!! I'm obviously not going to wear them for work but I'm going to keep them as they are really comfy and perfect for lounging around at home!

There is a really quaint tea shop near me that me and two friends found a while ago it's just like a cafe I think we might just go there lol

I've been really wanting ice lollies the last couple of days! Hubby is getting me some on the way home from work! Woohoo!!

I've had a headache on and off since Saturday. It was at it's worst on Sunday but it keeps niggling every now and then. I really must make the effort to drink some more. I went through a phase of drinking water with lemon in it so I'm going to try and start that again and hopefully it'll help my head.

I've not been sick since Sunday but still getting the odd episode of nausea and dry wretching over the toilet! Nice!

I've never actually been to a baby shower (only mooned over them on Facebook!) I thought the point was that a friend arranges it for you? Well I've told my friend I'm not getting involved anyway! I've not really seen any games played as such but then I have only seen pictures which often show a different reality! Xx

I'm finding it hard to bend lol I missed this Im enjoying it right now lol ask me in 3 months time!!

I've also never been to one. I had to organise my own hen party so I doubt anyone will organise anything for me. My friends are all spread out too so it makes it harder to do, otherwise I would maybe just have a bit of a meet up and chat with cake. I saw pictures of the one my cousin had and it looked a bit ott.

I can feel something staring to get in the way of bending, also makes me feel queasy!

I live about 3.5 hours drive away from most of my friends but I'll go to them if they organise a baby shower.

I'm dreading bedtime.. it's a world of pain with the CTS. Got a gp telephone appointment tomorrow so hope something progresses. XX
