Hahah we’ve been laughing and joking about it after dinner. Really funny. He’s on a good mood now so the day is saved.

Yeh i told my husband and he was joking about crossing paths as wait for room & being like yeh mate erm .. good .**** Haha God id die. But must b hard on guys tho in a wayy but still funny..!

yesterday a friend of my husband asked me when we’re going for number 2, I’ve been asked so many times but it completely took me by surprise coming from him. I flustered a ‘carefree’ answer and had to leave the table.

I don’t know how I can get away with that, it’s my best friends baby shower and it’s my sister in law organising it (they’re sisters). It’ll be strange if I leave during it. It’s irrational but it annoys me that they know what I’ve been through, never ask how I am then just invite me to these things in the generic group text. If they ever asked they might pre-empt the fact I was going to have an hour of heart palpitations and shakes at the thought.

Gosh that’s insensitive, particularly because they know!
Maybe let them know you are going to find it difficult. Tell them what you’ve told us and maybe they’ll understand just how you are feeling.
Difficult too because it needs to be said in a way that you are happy for them and it’s not going to affect your friendship.
Or just grit your teeth and get through it.
Funny how it’s easier to talk to strangers than talk frankly with your best friends. Only time I discuss it with friends is after a vino or 4!!

Yeah they know. I think I’m just gonna grit my teeth. I’ll feel terrible afterwards and I know it but there’s not much I can do x
