*March 2019 Testing Thread*

Ive had a huuge temp spike this morning.
I did however have a slightly shorter night than usual, but still had 4 and a half hours of uninterrupted sleep when I usually get about 6. Temp was taken at the same time (6:30).
Would 90 minutes less sleep have affected my temp that much? It just seems so high, I can only think Ive done something wrong lol.

Hi, I wasnt expecting to join in this month as I’m still going through tests to hopefully start on clomid (due to pcos), but I had a migraine this week, then loads of cm the last 2 days (sorry tmi) so I used a opk & got a smiley face . I know opks aren’t very good with pcos but I’m hopeful. I guess my testing day will be around the 25th, please can you add me? Rx

Hi ladies, just got back from Copenhagen, been busy this month celebrating dh’s 30th so I haven’t been on much and then I didn’t have my phone for a whole week as it was broken!

Cd29, didn’t get a static smiley before we went away, had 7 flashing, didn’t notice any good signs whilst we were away so I think it was a cycle where we haven’t ovulated although on the slim chance we did, we are well covered.

Now I’m back I need to decide, do I go ahead with the clomid or ask to be referred to a recurrent miscarriage clinic due to the 3 chemicals? I don’t know, dh doesn’t know and the doctor said it was up to us, it could just be pcos as the other preliminary miscarriage tests haven’t shown anything but then again, we don’t want to spend money/ waste time on clomid (the dr will only allow me to do for 12 months in total over my life) if it’s going to end in mc.

I would probably do the clomid. From experience its unusual for anything to be found during the miscarriage testing. I was told before we started that they probably wouldn’t find anything and they didn’t. But it’s your call. If you are happy to wait could you have the tests first then clomid or is it one or the other? X

@SugaryIris can you start on the clomid & have the tests at the same time? Last time I was on clomid it took a few cycles to get the dose right & it was quite frustrating as each time it wasn’t right I had to wait a couple of months for a consultant appointment - that was through the nhs. I imagine all clinics work differently - that’s just my own experience. Good luck lovely Rx

Ladies I’m letting myself think positive and I want to remain sceptical so I’m not let down.
On my 1st pregnancy (can’t remember with my 2nd) I had a terrible upset stomach until I got my bfp and I’ve had the same thing these last few days. Could be a bug though
But I have no cm anymore.

Ladies the more I read about potential symptoms in the TWW the more I realise that there are no tell tale signs that definitely means you are or aren’t pregnant. We all WANT to feel and see signs but being unhappy isn’t good for our mental or physical health. Be happy. Smile and just count down to testing haha xx

That’s exactly my fear, spending loads of time on the tests when they might no find anything and could just be down to the pcos anyway.

If I want the tests I need to go to different specialist clinic. I might see if I can call the doctor on Monday, maybe if they can give me something to combat the risk of mc for pcos I’ll go ahead without more tests...

Its currently 6.52am here and I am freaking out. My temp this morning went right back down again. Similar to the temp I had before my huge spike yesterday. My heart sunk when I saw it cause I thought thats it, thats not a good sign. And I caved and took a test. Please tell me Im not going crazy.

Thanks Char, im trying so hard not to get overly excited cause its only a cheapie. But gosh this is so surreal.
