Hi fellow N Ireland Mummy
! My friend is due around the same time as you as well, she is due her second little boy on 25th March!
How did you find the 16 week appointment/class from the programme? I was just relieved to know there are other first time parents to be just as daunted by everything as we are lol.
Ah congratulations on having a wee boy! How lovely and to be able to have the gender reveal party to share with family and friends, so special. From the moment I found out I was pregnant I have a feeling ours is a boy, I keep looking at boys clothes and thinking of boys names and saying 'he'. Even though we remained team yellow! Although DH has twice dreamt its a girl. Our family an friends are all split either way on the gender.
Ah same here with scan pics, I carry mine in my bag and pull them out to stare at them in awe.
Hopefully your placenta moves and the iron supplement has helped with energy levels.
Thankfully everything physically with me has been 100% and no issues. Although as I lost my Mum suddenly 3 weeks before discovering I was pregnant, I broke down at my 20 week scan and was referred to a Bereavement midwife. I had my first appointment with her this morning and it went really well, she was lovely. Having that support has been amazing and Im really grateful. Only for hubby encouraging me to mention it to the midwife then I would still be feeling a bit lost.
xx
