Hey girls,

Hope you're all well.

Lou, how did your scan go? We had our NHS one yesterday and due date was 9th March. Also have date for 20 week scan.

My friend found out she's having a girl yesterday. We have two boys the same age. I'm now getting really hung up on wanting a girl which worries me as I really wanted a girl last time and felt disappointed when we had a boy. Feel so so so horrible for feeling like this. I love my little boy to bits so feel awful for being disappointed when I was told he was a boy. Now all that's playing on my mind is that I'll be disappointed again if it's a boy. Just feel awful. Sorry to moan.xx

Oh I'm the same! I have a girl and I'm so so wanting another, I have nephews I love and adore but I just feel like I'm made for girls haha. I too feel bad for not "wanting" a boy! Of course if it was a boy I would love him unconditionally........... but if I could, I'd choose a girl haha. I think it's natural to feel guilty but try not to, you know that if it's another boy he'll be just as awesome as your first and it's ok to feel disappointment if it's not a girl, doesn't mean you'll love him any less.

Hey all, I had my 12 week scan yesterday i thought that i was 13 weeks but they dated me 13 weeks & 3 days also due date moved to the 4th of March, I`am having my 20 week scan on the 19th of October, It was so lovely to see our baby moving about on the screen its just so unreal to see. I already have a boy & a girl & i feel that this baby is going to be a girl, I wanted a boy for my son but if a girl is ment to be then i`am happy with that too. I`ll upload my scan pic when i can X

Thanks so much for understanding Haylian. We will only be having two children so I'd love one of each but just feel this one is a boy now because it is measuring bigger than my son and the sonographer at 10 weeks said she had a good idea what it was.
Lou, how lovely you have one of each. Glad your scan went well. My 20 week one is 23rd oct.x

Hi Ladies,

Lou - glad to hear your scan went well, I'm sure the 20 week ones will come around in no time!

I finally have a scan date! 13th of September when I'll be 13+2. Its the day before my holiday so hopefully we will happy news to take away with us. I've already got that day as booked as annual leave for packing so will be able to take my time and not have to rush there from work etc.

I have a son and would love a girl this time, i don't think there is anything wrong with having a preference over the sex, I think most people do! Obviously would be just as thrilled with another lovely baby boy.

Not got much planned this weekend and really looking forward to a chilled one and just spending time with my hubby and little boy.

Hope everyones feeling well, according to my app the end of T1 is when you start getting your energy back - so I'm looking forward to the day that happens!!

Thank goodness your scan date came through Summertime, how lovely and double exciting to take that news on holiday .
I still don't have mine . Contemplating ringing the hospital as apparently it's the letter being posted that takes the longest and chances are I'm booked in already. Will see how ancy I be next week.

I have a very busy Sunday this week, Temple Spa roadshow conference, a birthday party for one of Violets friends and then seeing my friend and her 2 daughters. So will be trying for a quieter Saturday to recharge my batteries. I feel like my nausea hasn't been quite so over powering today so I've been a bit more chatty etc. But now of course I'm worrying why haha. Can't win!!

Yes letter had t arrived and 12 weeks on Monday so called antenatal appointment and gave me date over phone. The. Typically when I got home letter had arrived!

Anyway as it turns out hubby can't make it so we are going for private scan on Monday!! Don't want to wish the weekend away but it can't come soon enough! So after having to wait for 8 weeks will now have 2 scans in 2 weeks! Also seeing co sultans on 13th to discuss previous birth and forceps side effects etc.

I'm so tired today thinking of heading to bed soon x

Sounds like you have a busy Sunday planned Haylian! Glad that your sickness has subsided a bit today, try not to worry it comes and goes so try to enjoy it!

Oh wow, Summertime, that's very exciting about your scan on Monday!!! Will look forward to seeing scan pics! Don't blame you getting an early night, I'm rarely up past 9pm these days as I'm constantly exhausted. Looking forward to the sickness and tiredness lifting. I'm 14 weeks now so surely it will be soon!!

I have my consultant appointment on Monday. Also considering booking a private gender scan at 16weeks as my nhs scan isn't until I'm nearly 21 weeks and I'm too impatient to wait that long

Haha that's typical isn't it. Well 2 scams in 2 weeks is very exciting
I'm rarely up past 9 these days, hoping to get some energy back soon too.

I had one at 16 weeks last time Dee. Not decided if I'm going to this time or not. Most likely will though cause I too am very impatient

Oh did you Haylian, did you find it better than an NHS scan? Do you think it's worth doing? I'm desperate to find out if we're pink or blue!

It was probably better because it was purely based on that, no checks or serious stuff if that makes sense.
They also gave us some pictures of what they were looking for to identify so we kinda did our own gender reveal which was fun

I was shocked on our NHS letter to discover that have to pay £10 for three scan pics, you got one each time for free when has my son. So this justifies £10 of the private scan cost!

I will let you k ow how mine is on Monday but I'm imagine the customer service will be a bit better having it private and shouldn't have to for ages. Understand NHS stretched so no problem waiting. Think I'm going to be at my NHS one ages as got to see three different people about various things, letter says allow 3 hrs.

My lazy Saturday has been scrapped as my baby group friend suggested a play date, it might actually be more restless than staying at home as the kids entertain themselves!

I gave in and booked a gender scan for when I'm 16 weeks!! Going on Thursday 14th September. So excited I could burst!!

Have a fab weekend ladies. Look forward to your update on Monday Summertime xx

How is everyone doing?

My scan is on Monday, I'm so scared but also so worried.

I also seem to have bad heartburn just now.

My three main issues in my last pregnancy were hair, heartburn and haemeroids. Oh how glamorous pregnancy is!!!

Lozza, I'm also having a scan on Monday, I'm excited but also scared aswell. I had a weird dream the other night I went and they said I wasn't pregnant.

I don't know about anyone else but the weeks see. To go by a bit quicker after get past week 5-8, during that time when J found out think I spent every minute thinking about the pregnancy where as now I can go a whole day without t crossing my mind and a couple of days haven't even been on my preg app or on here.

Been to cinema tonight so going to be a post 11pm bedtime which is the latest I've been up in a while!

I am also having a scan on Monday. It's quite a few having scans Monday.

Summertime, I had very weird dream night before too. Woke up upset. But if you tell people about it it won't come true. X

Sorry I've been gone for soooo long ! This pregnancy has been a very difficult one, lost almost a stone through being unable to eat and having infections and sickness. I had my 12 week scan on the 30th which was actually my 4th scan this pregnancy !! Two in epu one private and the 12 week and have a very healthy little bub, and my due date is now the 13th of march
Amazing how it's grown fine when I ate probably a days worth of food not even in 12 days and been bed ridden, hopefully things get better from here !! Also now I'm nearly 13 weeks I can hear little one through my angel sounds Doppler every day ♥️♥️ It's the most amazing sound ! Good luck ladies !!!! My best wishes for you all

Thea it sounds like you've had an awful time! That baby will take all your goodness to make sure it grown properly. I lost a lot of weight in my last pregnancy but that can only have been a good thing in the long run haha.
So far this time I've staye the same, which is surprising as I'm not eating much at all.
