## March 2018 Mummies Tri 1 Thread ##

Hi girls, been MIA for a while now with such awful sickness and just the tired feeling is horrendous! However had our dating scan today and was pushed forward four days giving me an EDD 12th March!

Also found out that we are having twins! Such a massive shock but overall very exciting!

Hope you are all well!

Wow twins!! Congratulations, thats amazing, I would love twins lol!x

Hiya!

I'm expecting my second baby (ignore user name I signed up during my first pregnancy but didn't use it in the end and I can't seem to figure out how to change my user name!) my second baby is due on 19th March and I currently have a 15 month old daughter. I hope to make use of this a bit more this time so hoping to get to know a few of you on the way! From positive test to now I've suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum so keen to find any others who have/are experiencing the same and some tips for how they've managed it especially as I'm a working mummy so finding it quite tough!!

I hope to chat to you all some more and good luck with your pregnancies :-?

Hi there :).
I've really struggled again with sickness and horrendous nausea this time around. Was at the Drs Monday and had to go back Wednesday, hospital admittance was discussed but thankfully I managed to avoid it.
I used the forum a lot in my first pregnancy and it's been really nice again to connect to expectant mummy's. Look forward to chatting more

So after numerous phone calls today, a realisation that my 12 week scan apt hadn't even been requested and a very stressy few hours I FINALLY have my scan booked in. Next Thursday 10.30 :) which means it'll be before Violets Birthday so I can do the whole "present" thing like I planned! I'm so excited now x

Oh Haylian that's fab it's all worked out. I do hope you feel better soon though. So awful having so much sickness. I'm 14 weeks now and still feel sick everyday but haven't been sick yet.xx

Rae Rae wow congratulations!! Twins! Two of our friends had twins last year. Lovely news xx

First time mum. Hope you're ok. Welcome! The more the merrier xx

We've booked to go to Butlins for 5 days on the 18th :) we were considering a last minute somewhere abroad but with how I'm feeling I don't really want to be that far from home, and I loved Butlins when I was a kid so wanted Violet to experience it, I bet she'll love it.
Hope you're all having good weekends x

Hi Haylian, it's horrible isn't it. I'm glad you managed to avoid being admitted. I have had one overnight stay on fluids so far and do not intend on having to go in again. My sickness meds have just been changed and after a couple of days of no change I'm starting to feel slightly better thankfully! How olds your first child?

Oh I miss pleased you're starting to feel a bit better. Long may it continue. I seem to be having some better days at the minute but days like today make me feel I'll be ill forever!
She's 4 on Friday :)

I know how you feel most days I feel at a loose end! I sometimes wish I had all of this sickness with my first instead of my second at least with my first i could have made the most of resting! I hope you feel well enough to celebrate your daughters birthday on Friday x

This was my biggest fear about having a second, and it's 1 of the reasons we waited so long. Pregnancy hormones obviously just don't agree with me. I just hope it fades this time cause I'm just a big misery guts at the minute.
Thank you, me too. We're off to sundown Adventure land so I hope I'm feeling better or that will be a very hard day. X

Hope you ladies feel better really soon. So horrible being and feeling so sick.

Summertime...have you checked you're ok to fly with your midwife/gp? Was just reading the NHS advice and it says to check...I haven't :-/ xx

Hi ladies, sorry i've been so quiet been really busy at work and feeling really exhausted this last week, had to do a couple of trips to London and the early mornings/travelling really did me, in spent most of the weekend napping and feel really bad for not making most of days with my son.

Lovely to read everyones updates to how exciting that we have March Twins - congratulation RaeRae, do you have a scan pic??

Haylian - hope you enjoy your daughters 4th birthday, my son is 4 at the start of next year and already going on about his birthday party - Warned my husband I'm not likely to have much energy at 7 months+ pregnant to run around after loads of kids so it's down to him this year!

Ljd - I didn't specifcally asked but I told her I was going to Lanzarote at my booking in and she didn't mention anything other than making sure travel insurance covers pregnancy related illness etc. I am so ready to lie on that sun lounger right now!

I have tomorrow and Wednesday morning in work after today and then my NHS scan on Wednesday afternoon. Really happy as hubby thought he was going to miss this scan aswell but managed to get the time off work so will be nice for him to see it. If everything is well planning to tell a few more people on Wednesday but not going to do any social media announcement so will just be close friends and family.

Probably won't get time to post before we go on Thursday so I will catch up on all the updates when I'm back from holiday - when will be over in T2!!! just realised it's my last week in T1!

Take care ladies xx

Those sound like some long days ST!

Got my scan in the morning,I'm soooooo nervous! I have an awful way of convincing myself that something is terribly wrong and I'll be one of the unlucky ones :(. Just want to know all is ok now and start to hopefully enjoy it a bit more without the worry

Good luck with your scan Haylian. Look forward to hearing all about it later :)

I have my gender scan this afternoon. We've booked it for 4.15pm so that our son can come with us after he finishes school. So excited

I think I've attached the image, been put back 4 days to 2nd April but as I'll be having a section I'm pretty sure it'll still be March :)
All was well, had my bloods etc all done and opted for full screening so hopefully all comes back ok.

Ooh Dee do let us know how you get on! So exciting to find out

I'm having a section too. Got the date through already, will be 22nd Feb but I'm staying with march mummies as that's my true due date!

Hey ladies, we're all very quiet!
First day of our Butlins holiday today and I've been the most sick so far this pregnancy:( I'm so upset! Ive kept nothing down all day, I have a banging headache and I feel like I've ruined our first day.
I'm going to go in the shower, dry my hair and go to bed while the hubby takes our daughter out to have some fun :(

I feel so sad and totally terrified that I'm going to wake up feeling the same tomorrow. Please God don't do this to me again tomorrow.

Hope you're all starting to feel better.

X

Oh Haylian, I feel for you! Is it the travelling that made your sickness worse? I find it is definitely the case for me. Try to get rest whenever you can. Hoping you feel better tomorrow! X
