## March 2018 Mummies Tri 1 Thread ##

Sorry I've been gone for soooo long ! This pregnancy has been a very difficult one, lost almost a stone through being unable to eat and having infections and sickness. I had my 12 week scan on the 30th which was actually my 4th scan this pregnancy !! Two in epu one private and the 12 week and have a very healthy little bub, and my due date is now the 13th of march :)
Amazing how it's grown fine when I ate probably a days worth of food not even in 12 days and been bed ridden, hopefully things get better from here !! Also now I'm nearly 13 weeks I can hear little one through my angel sounds Doppler every day ♥️♥️ It's the most amazing sound ! Good luck ladies !!!! My best wishes for you all

Thea I just purchased an angel sounds doppler and struggling to find the heartbeat. I can locate my placenta blood flow (like a whooshing sound) and I can hear the baby shuffling around, just no heartbeat yet!
Im 14 + 3 weeks. Any tips on using yours?x

Haylian thankyou you're right these little bubs just suck all our goodness regardless of how shocking we feel lol
Love and peace, it can be tricky because I've read depending on their position we're picking it up from anywhere so if it's like their feet it'll be faint but if it's their back or head it'll be stronger :) I tend to start a little down from my belly button and then get lower until I feel my tummy get quite hard .. if I can't hear anything I move it the tiniest bit over to the left and then right and I do dig around abit ! I have noticed the baby has gone from my left hand side to middle to now right I didn't think they could move around your tummy but honestly no two days I think she's in the same place .. and two days before my scan I found her in he morning easy as anything right below my belly button come midday when my family are over and I want them to hear ... completely gone ! Tried three different times that day and found nothing .. and the scan two days later revieled a very happy baby :)
Sometimes they may get comfy in silly positions so try near your hips ! Sounds silly but they can sneak away lol xxx

Had scan and everything looks well :-) dated me at 11+4 whereas based on LMP date I'm 12+0, have irregular cycles and thought I ovulated around CD 20 so this makes sense but I'll wait for my NHS scan next week before I adjust my date.

Feel so relieved. Had terrible nights sleep last night wondering what was going to happen then was so nervous before I was shaking in the waiting room then cried when I saw the baby, felt like a hormonal mess! And now I'm exhausted and ready a nap! Unfortunately I'm at work so that isn't going to happen.

Hope everyone elses scans today have gone well and I'll upload a pic later tonight. xx

Summertime, great news. :) Feel so much better now?

My scan went well too. Saw my baby and felt so happy. My oh was with me too. I'm 13+5 today.

Scan picture is very unclear. The lady was very focused on checking everything and did not try very much to get the best picture.

I am happy. :)

Who else is having scan today?

Also my scan experience was so positive the sonographer was lovely and really comforting as she could tell how nervous I was. She spent ages showing me everything and got 10 pics, the one above is my fav, baby was moving all over the place.

My NHS scan is next Wednesday and can't wait to see the baby again.

Haylian - I didn't have my scan date at 11 weeks so called and they gave me over the phone not sure if you can ring up antenatal department and check?

I've got my 16 wife midwife appointment through, feels like it's really starting to happen now!

Charlotte glad you scan went well.

Lozza hope your went well also xx

Ahh Summertime, what a lovely scan picture :) It's so surreal isn't it, makes it so much more real!

I'm glad everyone's scans went well. Mine did too. Baby was very well behaved!

I'm now measuring a day ahead. It will stick with the original due date.

So when do we move to two 2?

Great news lozza.

On here T2 starts at 14+0. There's. Is already a thread Merry set up. I'm going to join over there when I'm back from my hols as only just starting week 12 xx

Afternoon girls. Hope you're all well. Had a bit of a scare yesterday with some brown blood/discharge. Thankfully GP referred me to the Early Pregnancy Clinic where they scanned me and baby is fine. Phew! Currently 13+4 so will be moving to Tri 2 soon. Can't believe how quickly it's now going!xx

Ljd I had that around the same time and its so worrying!! Mine was on and off over a few days. Glad all is good for both of us xx

Hi ladies. Glad to see everyone's been ok and that your little ones are growing.
I'm having the worst time ever! I can't even get up to go to work, I'm snappy. I've never experienced nausea to this level. A part of me no longer wants this baby and I feel awful for thinking it but it's true
Sorry for being such a big girl's blouse

Hi girls, been MIA for a while now with such awful sickness and just the tired feeling is horrendous! However had our dating scan today and was pushed forward four days giving me an EDD 12th March!

Also found out that we are having twins! Such a massive shock but overall very exciting!

Hope you are all well!

Honestly, when I was feeling sick all the time I started to wonder what on earth we'd done, couldn't believe I'd wanted this...as soon as I stopped feeling so ill, and especially after my scan, I only felt positive about it. Don't worry, things will get better...have you spoken to your midwife or doctor?

Wow, must have been a real shock! Congratulations, show us a photo!

Oh Ldj how scary, so glad all is ok!
Sk8 I've been really poorly too, I couldn't even sit up and wash my face on Monday I was in such a state!
And I've found myself wondering "what are you doing". But I just tell myself if it's a short term sacrifice for a long term goal :) it will so be worth it, although I appreciate that doesn't help us feel better now.

Ah Rae congratulations! Twins is so special and how exciting.

I still don't have my letter! Rang them today and they said they have my request and "well it'll have to be soon as you're already 11 weeks" haha yes thanks for that! So can I book it in now? "Oh no sorry we can't do it over the phone". Honesty how ridiculous!

Going to ring again on Friday

Hiya!

I'm expecting my second baby (ignore user name I signed up during my first pregnancy but didn't use it in the end and I can't seem to figure out how to change my user name!) my second baby is due on 19th March and I currently have a 15 month old daughter. I hope to make use of this a bit more this time so hoping to get to know a few of you on the way! From positive test to now I've suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum so keen to find any others who have/are experiencing the same and some tips for how they've managed it especially as I'm a working mummy so finding it quite tough!!

I hope to chat to you all some more and good luck with your pregnancies :-?
