Ahh I'm loving these scan pics!
Hopefully I'll have a nice one to add after my viability scan on Monday. Feeling super nervous about it. Really hoping all is ok in there.

Great pics, can definitely see a lot more at 12 weeks.

I'm still sooo tempted by early scan but got this far only 3 weeks til NHS one.

Yes work awful and busy so on holiday countdown now, will be my last weeks off work before Xmas and after that may leave as want to save hol so can save a bit earlier xx

I'm a bit panicked at the minute as my daughter has slap cheek which is very dangerous to pregnant women, my Dr sent me for an urgent blood test yesterday but won't get results until next week

Oh no Haylian that sucks for both you and your little girl! Surely you could get the results sooner, its just another worry you don't need!!

Loveandpeace those pictures are so lovely! I cant wait for my next scan already!

Summertime those 3 weeks should just fly by and just think how amazing everything is going to look on that scan

Today I had to tell my nieces and nephew that Auntie has a baby in her belly as I am looking after them all weekend so their mum and her gf can go away and i'm the wild insane Aunt that does all the crazy stuff with them and lets them jump all over her and i'm still being a little cautious! They are all very excited (for about 3 seconds till they saw I had bought donuts hahaha) x

I'm beyond excited xcited to tell my daughter, reeeeally hoping our 12 week scan is before her birthday as my plan is to put a scan picture in a present box with a big sister dress .
Her birthday is 15th Sep and I hit 12 weeks on 13th, got my first midwife apt next Thursday so just got to hope the scan date comes through quickly after that x

Aww that's a lovely idea Haylian. Is your early scan a private one?

I've got my booking in next Thurs aswell. Not sure how long will take for scan to come through but I'm going on hol at 13 + 3 so hope it's before then, not sure what going to do if it's when we're away as want to have the screening that has to be done before 13+6. Don get booking here until 10 weeks to guess scans must get organised fairly quick x

Yes it's a private one, I have anxiety and I worry far too much so figured it was worth the money . I know it won't mean we're out of the woods but it'll be nice to know that little one is well in there, fingers crossed!

So I may now have a scan pic so sharing my bloated tummy pic instead! Size 12 normally so not skinny but I carry my weight on my hips so stomach generally not poking out! Much worse in evenings got to undo my trousers, wouldn't wear this top out now as would get questions so sticking to long tunics for work.

Just checking in to catch up on how everyone is doing and wow it is so amazing to start seeing all the scan photos, so wonderful! Making me so excited to get mine!! I have my booking in appointment and ultrasound scan on Friday 8th September, so 3 weeks today! This will probably be the longest 3 weeks of my life! Hope everyone is doing well!!

Hi VictoriaLisa, glad you're keeping well. Time does seem to be going mega slowly at the minute . I remember it being like this last time, then after the 12 week scan it speeds up massively and before you know it you hit the slow part right at the end again when you're waiting for baby to arrive haha x

Aw cute little bump summertime!

Im starting to feel pretty good (apart from pregnancy rhinitis, its so annoying!) and will enter 2nd trimester this Thursday, yikes! Then its only 7 weeks until halfway! Really looking forward to starting antenatal classes/workshops for first time Mummys in my area, they are combined with antenatal midwife appointments. Also starting pregnancy yoga in a few weeks. I emailed by bosses just before I left work yesterday so its just all actually becoming so real!
Its so good to be able to relax more after the scan and not worry as much. Also as most people know by now I dont have to wear baggy clothes or avoid seeing people. Today I cleared out 5 drawers of furniture in the spare bedroom to make space for baby stuff, nesting already!
DH wants to start buying the bigger items but i would rather wait until after the 20 week scan mark or even the January sales.

Glad you're feeling good L&P I have to say I'm envious as I'm just feeling worse and worse at the minute.
Feeling like a terrible mother as I just can't get myself to get up and play like I usually do . She notices too as I spend my days on the floor with her. Thankfully as she's almost 4 she does understand that mummy is poorly and needs to rest, but that makes me feel even more guilty. Hopefully after Tri 1 I'll start to feel a bit better.

Hi all, been away visiting family for a week so just catching up! So cool to start seeing scans and bump pics... I'm still a bit bloated and spend most of time time with my trousers undone (don't know what I'll do when I go back to work!) but no bump.

But my first scan is tomorrow! Very excited but possibly equally nervous - is this normal?!

I think its perfectly natural to be nervous Merry. I was horribly nervous before both my early scans and know I will be for my next one when I get the appointment through. But the excitement should win and just think how amazing it will be

Haylian, sorry to hear you are feeling pants! You are definitely not a bad mummy, you are managing to make one and care for one all at the same time, you are a superhero!

Loveandpeace glad you are feeling better, I am too, which worries me as I feel I should be feeling lousy for a few weeks yet! but equally i'm not going to complain

As for me, patiently waiting for my booking in appointment on tuesday, then I will get my scan date and my consultants appointment (as I am a high risk pregnancy for several reasons) so all going well. Appetite is calming which is good, nausea seems to have calmed (well intermittently) and tiredness is hit and miss but I am sure overall my energy levels are on the up

Good luck for the scan Merry, I was very anxious before my 12 week scan with my son and feeling exactly the same this time!

Look forward to hearing about it and seeing a lovely scan pic tomorrow.

I can't believe I'm going to be 10 weeks tomorrow and booking in appointment will finally be here!

I hope that everyone's well today. Just been having a read through the posts to catch up. Lovely to see scan pics and the beginnings of your lovely bump Summertime!

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow morning 😬

My sickness seems to have eased a little, still feeling dreadful but it's heading in the right direction - fingers crossed. I now have a proper bump which is near impossible to hide!! xx

Back from my scan! So relieved, it was amazing if slightly surreal to see baby wriggling around!

S/he is showing the potential to be awkward though - was fast asleep on its back in such a way that the sonographer couldn't get any decent measurements or measure the nuchal fold. I was sent off for a walk to jiggle it around a bit, so actually had two scans today On the second attempt baby had flipped over but was in an equally awkward position. She managed to get a dating measurement in the end but did say it could still be out by a few days, and there was no way she could get the neck measurement.

I don't care, I saw the heartbeat and lots of wriggling and stretching. Amazing that all that is going on inside me when I'm completely unaware!
