Ladies doing their first cycle of IUI or IVF.

thanks MissJuly. I just have no idea what to expect. If we decide to start IUI our clininc will be 80 miles away (one way!) and I'm wondering how the scanning thing will work out... It will surely be tough enough just going all that way for one trip let alone back and forth for days on end.

Just don't know how to find out a bit more information without starting the process if you know what I mean. I'm under a gynae consultant but she doesn't know very much about the fertility side of things and she is based at my local hospital. I just don't know where to start really....

Hi Cariad, it does sound quite far to go, as MissJ said scans are every other day, sometimes every day, I had one mon tues and wed this week as my ovaries responded very quickly.
However it is worth it if it gets you that bfp.
Lucy- oh my gosh I can't believe it had popped already, when did you do the trigger shot? Massive good luck with iui xxx

MissJ good luck today too, hope you enjoyed your wine last night! I am going to try and be super healthy this 2ww to see if that helps. Any other tips to encourage implantation?!

Just popping in to wish all you lovely ladies the best of luck in your tww's - lots of you going through the next two weeks together!

xxxx

I'm feeling super positive and excited at the moment but know that it can change any moment. I'm taking progesterone 3 times a day.

Lucy: Oh gosh - you have an eager egg there;) fx for you!

Lots of luck to you missj!

Blondy: I don't know if it's true - but I've heard some ladies say that it helps implantation to keep your belly warm, as this increases blood flow to your uterus. I'm going to try to keep my belly warm from time to time at least - and be active so that blood get to it. Iykwim? Lol

Exciting days ladies! Got everything crossed!

Sending lots of positive vibes to all my ltttc buddies .... praying to see a bfp boom in a few weeks time xx

Hey ladies just popping on to say I've had my iui done, I was complimented on "beautiful" ewcm - a positive sign for ovulation! Lol that felt a bit weird. But procedure was very quick and they were very positive but that's standard I guess.

OTD is 13th April. :yay:

Progesterone pessaries start tonight - such fun!

How is everyone doing? X

Let's hope this weekend is going to be lucky for us ladies.. Glad you are all done miss July, we are on 2ww together now xx

Yay I'm so pleased we are all in the 2ww together. We can symptom spot!

Yay for 2ww buddies!

What do you do to keep occupied? I have taken up knitting again :) I'm not good at it but it keeps me busy from not googling too much ;)

To keep occupied I clean! Or I take up baking or cooking lol. Also go out for lunches etc with friends and just try and spend time with family so I'm not focussing on myself too much otherwise i go mad symptom spotting lol. Cramping and feeling lots going on with my left side so we will bd over the next couple of nights as a extra boost lol. X

I guess I can concentrate in last few wedding plans now... I'll be working 5 days next week as no appointments... That's next week sorted anyway...:-)

When are you getting married Lucy??
I am feeling pretty much normal,2dpo here and all cramping stopped which is nice.

In 21 days... Haha!! We brought it forward because of the fertility issues... Smaller immediate family only now. Xx

Glad the cramping has stopped blonde.. I feel strange, can't explain it, but good. :-)

How exciting lucy! Getting married is magical <3

Sounds like you have a good plan to keep busy missj! Will def book a lunch next week as well:)

Blondie: I'm glad your cramping stopped. I've had it on and off today, but I'm guessing the progesterone has side effects.

Silly question, but do we still say dpo or do we have a different term as well?
