LittleDalla - I have had three IUI cycles and am currently undergoing IVF. I can confirm the requirements are the same, as my BMI was just under. They only let me do any of it if I promised to put on a few pounds. I haven't been weighed since that first time.

Don't make the same mistake as me though and make sure you are on metformin (and clomid if you don't ovulate naturally) as well as eating right etc if you do try IUI. It's worth a try but the success rates aren't that great and it works better for male issues than the likes of us. Any questions about PCOS and fertility treatment, just ask. I struggled to get a diagnosis so actually know more than my doctors about it. X

Hi LittleDalla! Not to late to join at all, everyone is at different stages. The other ladies have answered your question I think but iui isn't so common now, they try to push you straight to ivf as the success rates are higher. I think its worth trying though as its much less invasive and could work.

Amazing Mel! The best quality embryo and some siblings waiting in the freezer, couldn't have worked out better! Its good to have spares so you don't have to do egg collection again. You must be excited! You have such a good chance of a bfp now!

As for me we do the Ovitrelle tonight as my OPKs weren't very dark then wait for news from the embryologist! The outcome of the screening will be so black or white I'm trying not to think about it!

I had no idea of any of this but doc explained all today . You can have an "early onset " of ohss or which i think i very close after trigger/EC so perhaps 2-3 days after EC. Thats when they might cancel ET. Then you can have "late onset" ohss like i have which is when pregnancy hormones start the ohss. Its HCG hormone for trigger injection and HCG when pregnant. I started to get uncomfortable friday 6dp5dt and has gone worse every day. Probably had very mild ohss after EC but not enough to stop ET.

They told me in clinic today but knew it was ohss yesterday

I wonder why I had mild late ohss after transfer last year then as I wasn't pregnant!

Yes, when did you get it? Just after transfer? Mine came on hard 8dp5dt and felt ok for a couple of days before and doc said that means pregnancy almost always..

Embryos will be thawed Saturday and tested Monday. They update us Monday about how many survived the thaw and are growing properly then we get the results Tuesday or Wednesday. We prepare for transfer on Wednesday but could be told there were no normal ones to transfer and not to come up after all. Start Clexane and Cyclogest Saturday too. It will be like waiting for major exam results!

Yeah I am taking my metformin and trying to lose weight, currently doing Slimming World. Lost half a pound tonight, I am buzzing about this as I thought I would of put on.
I have not been prescribed clomid (yet). Don't know if I will get this at my app or not.

Like I say, I am kind of just assuming that I will be offered IUI or IVF but yet again I could just be turned away. I am going to take each day as it comes.

Great Mel! I went back to work 2 days later as well.. Until ohss kicked in of course . Think its better to keep occupied.

Thanks for asking, Feeling so so bad!! Im so bloated its scary and have no definition on my back or sides.. Like the water press out on my back and everywhere it can . Not so sick today which is good but gained weight. I am borderline for blood clot risk so going for regular tests. Cant remeber last time i was this uncomfortable!
