How come you have to switch between clinics?
Surely an appointment is an appointment.

Is that just for a tracking scan?

Oh and I told work today. I didn't have the guts to be honest so I just said I will have a lot of appointments coming up and one procedure where I will be under anaesthetic.

That's fair enough to just tell them that. Its a very personal thing.
The Agora couldn't do any more for us so Mr Kelada suggested we go to the Lister in Chelsea which is their sister clinic as they do Embryo screening, but have the tracking scans at the Agora as they are nearby, as a satellite patient. Its worked ok until now!

I only told my boss, he knows everything but have not said anything to my work colleagues. Surely they will know something is up since my work involves travelling every second week and will not travel at all now until all done. Did tell one colleague who asked when I would travel next that I cant travel in October because of some personal things.. end of conversation

Had second scan today which confirmed lining is thin ( 2,5mm )! Good to go. Everything takes ages with NHS so first stim day will be this Sunday 11th so they can fit everything in their calendars.

The nurse asked me if I was polycystic since they could see some follicles but is this not normal? I'm don't have PCOS as far as I know. Will be on 150 iu of FSH ( fostimon ) which I believe is a fairly low dosage? xx

Sorry but have one more question that perhaps ladies doing ivf with nhs can help with..

I was told to start Fostimon ( FSH ) injections 150 iu on Sunday but continue with the SAME dosage of buserelin ( Down reg ) of 0.5 ml. they said I will continue with buserelin 0.5 throughout the whole time I am stimming.. Thought the buserelin would go down? Why should I continue to down reg?

My manager knows, I told one colleague and others guessed but the rest don't know. They probably have an inkling though!
That's great about your lining, all good to go! I had some follicles at my baseline scan, thought that was normal? And I've never had more than 19 eggs collected! Maybe you just had lots of little ones?

Had my first tracking scan today! Went well, 14 follicles, about 6 around 10mm and the rest smaller. No hydrosalpinx, hooray! Waiting to hear about oestrodial levels.

So far only my boss and HR know, but know once I'm in late multiple times for my scans the others will start to ask questions.
They all know I've got probs with my stomach, so am hoping I can continue with that!

I usually have about 17-19 follicles and get between 15 & 19 eggs collected. Most of them fertilize, they tend to stop growing or start arresting on day 5 leaving us with 2 or 3 good ones, then its the implantation where we've fallen down.

I was given incorrect info about my drugs! Was told to start steroids on day 7 of stims so took one this morning but then thought that if we are having embryo screening and a frozen transfer I would start the steroids later! Asked the nurse today and she said I was right! Good thing I checked!!

When I started stims (gonal F) I had to reduce buserelin from 0.5 to 0.2 but maybe everyone is different or its different depending what stims you have?! I dont really know hun but double check with them if you are unsure.
