Ladies doing IVF or IUI - 2015 (9 BFPs!)

They don't know but I'm close enough to tell them if it comes to it. I think I worked it out wrong anyway. I'm guessing FET are after when ovulation would be?
The clinic called and they have managed to freeze two more so we have 4!! So happy xxxx

That's great news cdababy, I've got every crossed for you xx

I had my next scan today still growing slowly but better back for a scan Wednesday hopefully treatment Friday x

Great CDA!! 4 is so good :)

Have my first injection tomorrow morning.. Just want it done already!! Stressed and excited at the same time x

Will you need any treatment before they do FET or do they just have to time it right? x

Thanks ladies, I have a nurse consult on 9th Oct to go through the plans with me then. I'm happy to either as long as I get a good result xx

Good luck Mariaisabella, it will be fine. One step closer xxx

Do you have to do them twice a day? Glad I don't have to do them at work or before work!

I have them once a day but its for down regulation.. I will do them in the morning but I found it very easy so hopefully no problems..

How are things with you? When will you start injections??

Hey all.

How do you cope with your emotions through this? I've not even started my cycle yet and already I'm crying! Today I was set off because we have just paid off the bill which is just over £6000!

We have our set up apt with the nurse tomorrow, hopefully that will put me at ease a bit! Everything is just overwhelming already! Please tell me this is normal ha!

Hope you are all doing ok xx

Its completely normal and I am very emotional so you are not alone :) It does not take much for me to start crying and my poor boyfriend has to tiptoe around me :)

6k.. so you are going private? I am lucky to have 2 tries at NHS but will go private after this if it doesn't work. The financial bit is not helping the stress I assume.. sending lots of hugs xx

We were told to do them all in the evening!

Yes it is so emotional, its almost worse before you start because of the anticipation, not knowing what to expect and putting your body through something major.

I have another baseline scan tomorrow to check the cyst is gone then hopefully start down regulation tomorrow evening. Its nasal spray instead of injections, hooray!!

Is there a reason for doing them in the evening? I hope its ok to do them in the morning since the nurse told me to come in this morning 8 am! She was very helpful which has not been the case previously with the nhs nurses I met so that nice.

Good luck with your scan!

Good luck with the scan, hopefully the cyst has gone.

Yes, have to go private as husband has an 11 year from his first marriage. Red tape sucks! I am having icsi which is a little more xx

It probably doesn't matter with the down reg ones but we have to do ours in the evening so the right number of hours elapses from injection to blood test to test results to being told if you need to change the dose. Did the nurse help you with the first one then?

Thanks! Having an annoying day at work today!

I did the injection in front of the nurse but was nice to have her there the first time :). I was surprised how easy it went in! I seriously did not feel anything.

I am having a bad work day as well.. Hating work at the moment, really stressful and have to travel etc. which is not ideal for IVF. Will travel my "last time" next week ( still on down regulation ) but told my boss no more throughout the IVF so October travel free which is better!

That's good, so will you do your stims injections in the morning too?
My DH travels for work too, he has to tell them he can't go during ivf as he does my injections and obviously has to be around for egg collection! Last time my friend had to do one of my injections as he was away! I am v squeamish and can't look at them!

No idea about the stims but will ask them when I have my scan.

Oh, must be so hard since you can't do them yourself! I would not let my DH near me and rather do them myself ( My DH is scared of needles! )!! I am not scared of needles at all but thought doing it myself would be hard.. it wasn't for me. :)

The morning after my first injection I was so emotional, cried for no reason in the car park before work. I thought oh my god if im like this after my first one what will I be like a month or so in?! But that was the only time I got really emotional, after that I was fine. If anything my mood was better than normal throughout the treatment (my OH actually asked whether I could stay on them cheeky git!) I think it s just all the stress and anxiety of what your going through becomes a little overwhelming. You will be fine, just relax and try and enjoy the journey (I know thats difficult at times) but good times are ahead for us all! x
