Ah that's great news blue flower. And CDAbaby the injections are not that bad. I ended up doing the gonal F ones myself in the end. In a strange way I quite enjoyed doing them x

I surprisingly found the injections to be alot better than I imagined too. Havent used the epi pen ones yet but hoping they feel the same. The first time I injected I kept my skin pinched after the needle was in and found that it was a little uncomfortable when the liquid was going in. I think it may have been restricting the flow. Since then I have let go of my skin after pushing the needle in and that feels better. (May be a common sense error but thought I would share!) Xx

I did all of my own. I am a bit of a control freak so wouldn't be able to cope with OH doing them. They are not that bad, esp gonal f pen, the needle goes in so easily. The tips I have are to vary the injection site but stay away from the area just below belly button, for some reason it's quite uncomfortable and it wasn't just me that thought it. You will be fine, the first one is the worst as you don't know what to expect xx

Try 4, my age etc I suppose. But we are having extra procedures which it doesn't mention. I'm not going to take any notice and go by what the consultant said instead!

Yeah if I changed my age to reflect my egg reserve it would be much more favorable. Consultant said my collection numbers and fertilization rates were very good for my age so I am going to focus on that instead!

Its best to ignore the percentages really, I was told I had half the chance of what they would give someone else my age and the consultant wrote on a letter to my GP that I 'had realistic expectations of the IVF being successful'...pretty much saying, no chance!!
I know things didn't end well what I am saying is, statistics and averages can be wrong. Keep positive ladies. I have everything crossed for all of you xx

Will start ivf shortly and my medication will be delivered this week! Will be on Microgynon for a months or so before the injections start.

So excited but scared at the same time.

Got my smiley face just now on my ovulation stick ( ovulation in a day or so ) so still hoping for a natural pregnancy!

That's good CDABaby! Hope the box doesn't look too scary! I STILL haven't received my prescription to get all the Menopur to start on Friday! I think they forgot to send it off until today.

Some ladies get a natural BFP before ivf, you never know!

Thanks blueflower fingers are always crossed for a miracle. I have hinted to the DH to buy me a fertility guardian angel on eBay, not sure if they work but I like to believe in things like that lol
