Hi Loubalouba, it's called Trying to get Pregnant (and succeeding), it's about having a positive mental attitude towards conceiving, and increasing your chances of success. I downloaded the Kindle version Sunday evening, it was about £7.50, I think someone said the book version is about £20. I'm hooked! It really does change your attitude and approach! x

I've just ordered it on Amazon! Looked for it on my Samsung tablet as an e book but they didn't have it!

If you're having hypnotherapy already Loubalouba you may be familiar with the techniques as this is a book written by a therapist and uses hypnotic language for baby making

Had my first scan today, all on track, had about 16 follicles, most small at this stage but a couple are 9-10mm. Lining was good, she said the scratch had made it thicken up already! Haven't heard back about the blood test so we carry on with the same doses.

I don't feel well today though after the infusion!

Did the nurse tell you that you may feel different after infusion... hope you perk up tomorrow! All sounds good from the scan and the scratch was worth it too

All sounds good blueflower, they do the scratch at our clinic and they say it definitely makes a difference so fingers crossed for you!! When will ur egg collection be then?

She listed things like nausea, headaches etc but I switched off cos they always say that! The nurse who scanned me yesterday said it can make you feel tired but I was ok at that point, it was yesterday afternoon it hit me! I've also given up caffeine as advised (I only had 1 or 2 cups of tea per anyway but wanted to see if it made a difference!) so that may have contributed to the headaches and tiredness! I still feel as if AF is here as well though! I started the steroids today as well!!

Egg collection will be when the dominant follicles have reached 18mm, estimated for next Wednesday or Friday! Quite soon!

Are you having another scan tomorrow too? And what are the steroids like.. anything different to injecting stims? Its all happening now!

Yes scan tomorrow too. The steroids are tablets thank goodness as I have less space left on my stomach due to a massive bruise! Do you all just inject either side under the bellybutton? Its 5 steroid tablets though which seems like a lot! ��

It's really odd as I found the injections made me feel all wierd if i did it under the belly button so when it was only one injection i alternated side to side then when it was two just did both sides, give a good squeeze and do it nice and swift usually helps reduce chance of bruising xx

Oh you should see the sight of me when husband does the tummy one... I have whatever top I have on over my head so dont know where the needle is coming in but I do tell him to say sharp scratch before jabbing in! We alternate sides and pinches then lets go when needle in and injects the drug.... no bruising

Thanks Sarah, gut instinct is negative. I was driving home from work on Tue and had sharp pains in my abdomen, yesterday afternoon I had fresh blood. It's gone again now. It's felt like a journey into the unknown. I was fine with everything until ET, when I was extremely nervous. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be in the end. A day or so after ET I was really jumpy. I was then analysing every single twinge. That voice in my head saying that my age is against me has been pretty loud throughout!

On a positive note though, I had acupuncture today and had a lovely chat with my practitioner. Turns out she's a qualified hypnotist too! I was telling her about the Marisa Peer book, she believes in it completely and has helped many couples herself. She is going to give me some coaching next time, so in a strange way I'm already feeling much more confident about next time!

Re injections, I always look away! That's funny about your top over your head kk! Do you do a thigh one as well then? 'Sharp scratch' haha! I was told only to do either side so maybe we're not supposed to do them in the centre for some reason Sarah? It doesn't usually bruise, must have hit a vein.

I feel so achy and full of drugs today!!
