Ladies doing IVF or IUI - 2015 (9 BFPs!)

Wow blueflower 80% is amazing!! Fingers crossed it all goes right for you, you really deserve to have some good news.

Good luck today Mel, I will be thinking of you.

I still have signs of OHSS fluid and very aggressive looking left ovary means the clinic won't even consider starting fet. Looking to be after Xmas now :( xx

Good luck today mel :)

Maria My friend had no symptoms after her ICSI and she really thought her test would be negative! But it was a strong positive on the OTD.

I am sorry CDAbaby being put back is tough! But it's sooo important your body is ready for that BFP xx

Thanks! I don't want to make up symptoms since it just gives me false hope. I guess I feel a bit weird ( mild AF type cramps 2 days ago, bloated, tired and tingly nipples yesterday ) but that can just as well progesterone and AF coming. I would never have realized any of these symptoms if I wasn't trying. Have heard people getting discharge and sore boobs but have nothing of that!

Good luck today Mel!!

sorry CDA but as others mentioned better to be 100% receptive before transfer!

Blueflower, I completely understand you need answers, I will do the same if this does not work.

Thank you ladies, I know it's right and I'm glad they aren't wasting my embryos trying when my body isn't ready. I just thought I would be by Christmas but Nevermind. Things never go to plan.

I really hope you get your bfp Mariaisabella xxxx

Hey girls ... We got 12 eggs!

Feeling so sore and drowsy.

Will have a proper catch up on this thread later xx

That's brilliant! Same as me :) Think you are probably younger than me so you will get some quality Blastos for sure! :)

Well done!

That's great Mel! Take it easy and look forward to catching up. Its funny, you lot are probably the first I update after appointments! DH is first if he's not there, then you lot, then a simplified version for anyone else who knows but doesn't really understand!

On my way to my scan, hopefully find out when the embryo screening will be! As long as one of the follicles is growing nice and big!

It's not big enough yet! Have to go back on Monday! :( My managers are going to get sick of me keep taking more time off! She said I might have to go Wednesday as well! Testing is likely to be at the end of this week then hopefully transfer at the weekend. But still don't know! Apparently the follicles can grow slowly again after egg collection as they are still healing from being swollen and pierced and due to the hormones.

Mel, that's fantastic!

CDA - as the others say, best to get it right.

Blueflower - ahh, don't worry about work! Just wait for it to grow and treat yourself while you can :-)

I had my first scan today (IVF is actually here!). She said the lining was thinning nicely and it looked "normal". Both DH and I were going to ask the same question as we were surprised by that, so I did: "Can you tell at this stage how polycystic looking they are?" to which she replied, "They're not polycystic, they're normal." She explained what they would look like if they were, and we both agreed they used to be... But they're not anymore! My incurable disease has gone (from my ovaries at least) :-) DH and I were practically skipping out of the room. Start injections tonight xx

Everything seems to be going well for everyone, got everything crossed for you all xx

Well done Mel, great news!! Hope you get lots making it day day 5.

Oh, i am so upset today. Had a massive argument yesterday about something silly but i basically had a meltdown, crying hyserically, screaming and shouting at DH for aged. I was so upset after so cried myself to sleep since convinced i have messed everything up now!! I could not make myslef calm down, like my body did it all by itself..:(

Oh its such a stressful time and after everything you've been through so far. Sure you will sort it out. Is your DH usually understanding? He's probably stressed too.:hugs:

Thank you, We have sorted it out now so that is not the problem.. More worried i have messed up ivf and everything we have done so far:(

Getting upset won't stop your embryo implanting, try not to worry. Can you do something nice or relaxing to make you feel better about it?

I feel as if I am coming down with something today, had such a busy week and the steroids must be affecting my immune system.
