I told my boss that we will be starting soon and he has been amazing! Any time off I need I can have, can work from home if I need to. I too do a lot of travelling and didn't want to book appointments that I might not be able to keep. So alot of my work will be done over the phone next month. Good news CDA, sounds as if you have a good boss. I think most employers have to support families and wouldn't want to appear difficult but its not always the case especially in the private sector. Where do you work?

It went fine thanks, saw my little blasto on the monitor as it was deposited which was lovely. I've had a few sharp twinges and cramps tonight so I'm already stressing that I shouldn't have made dinner! None of the others were good enough to put back so all our hopes are pinned on this little blasto xx

Really hope it works Hun!! Just take it easy just to be on the safe side xx will keep everything crossed for you! My advice would be no early testing! It could cause you more anxiety than necessary! Xx

We have an appointment with the consultant on the 14th September after our holiday, will have a lot of questions, hoping it will help us to decide what it is we want to do next!

My otd is 4th September but I'll test before that, just. Evade last time I got my period 4 days before my otd and I want to be prepared. Although I'm sure this time all will be fine!

I hope a burst resets your batteries a bit, it's all so emotionally tiring isn't it xx

A question I hope someone can help me with. I am so confused! I got a smiley face on opk on the 10th of August so initially thought I would get AF around 22nd-23rd since only 11-12 days LP. Then I felt really weird and took another opk the 20th since had ovulation symptoms and got another positive??!! I assumed I did not ovulate the first time so expected AF around the 1st of Sep.

Yesterday after BD I thought I saw a tiny bit of blood but ignored this. Had cramps during the night and this morning a little red blood and further crams ( feels little like AF ). What is going on?? Can you get a positive opk even though you ovulated earlier?

Nurse told me to start the pill when AF starts but not sure what is happening, should I start?

And now think its a complete bleed and lots of crams, feels exactly as AF. So I assume I did not ovulate 5 days ago when I got the positive opk? Didn't think you could get positive opk after ovulation?

This has never happened before, very typical when I want normality!

If it's full red flow then it's cd1. With my last AF I had days of spotting and then some watery red blood in the afternoon which I though would be cd1 but my clinic counted the next day as cd1 as I woke up with full red flow. Call in if you're not sure xx

Thank you Dee. Would it matter if I start the pill one day too early or too late? I think today is the day since its red blood.

Do you have ideas of the positive opk 5 days ago? Is it possible to get a LH surge without ovulating after ovulation?

Some ladies do seem to get a surge as they approach AF so maybe it was that? Its typical that things always get a bit confusing when we have treatment coming up xx

Spoke to nurse and she said I should start he pill microgynon tomorrow since today is cd1.

Will start injections Buserelin ( think its called ) the 22nd of September so over 3 weeks and first scan 2nd of October.

Seems like such a long process, is this the normal lengths? At least it has started now.

Had my first scan today. Got 15 follicles on one side and 18 on the other. Dont know if thats a good thing or not but the nurse said I had responded well to the treatment so I take it as a good sign. Got to go back on Thursday for another. Feeling really bloated!

I've always done the short protocol marialsabella so didn't don't reg but I think that's similar to what others have done.

That's a really good response poispinner, they might not all have a mature egg but they sound pleaded. Make sure you're drinking lots of water if you're not already xx

I always find I have weird cycles when I am waiting for treatment etc.. Honestly it's like my mind just likes to make my body tease me...

Quick question, after 2 failed embryo transfers at what point to ask them to check for NK cells ? Please could people tell me if you think they would allow us to start a fresh cycle after 2 failed attempts from this one or will they tell us we need to try our last embryo? Would anyone else feel like they have lost faith in their embryos?

If my issue was low progesterone how would or could I tell this?

I had my immune bloods done after 2 failed ivf cycles, none were frozen though as we never got any frosties. See what your consultant says about having a fresh cycle. Maybe ask him//her if the quality of them all was similar and if there's anything they can do to improve it.
