Hey baby bump, that is awful that he said that. I do feel sometimes that we are just statistics to some and there is never any compassion. The clinics don't do enough investigations before they start the ivf process. I would definitely ask for a second opinion because I can see from your signature that it has happened a few times now and there may be something deeper that needs to be looked at. I sometimes think we would make better fertility experts than they do! Lol... I have been working on my back up plan today and I'm going to call another clinic on Monday and ask for a consultation and if I can do the immune test before we do our FET with the other clinic. I just want to give our frosties the best possible chance. And you will get there baby bump. I know you will xx

Lots of ladies get fet bfps, I'm preying I get something to freeze after my next fresh cycle just in case.

As for me I've got my endo scratch today and expect to start stimming on around 10th August...here we go again!

I started mine on day 21 I think but I did the long protocol which apparently they don't do anymore! So I think the short is day 1,2 or 3?? Dee good luck Hun have they changed your protocol this time? Xx

Could I have some advice please ladies? I didn't start the nasal spray this week as I was waiting for my test results, but if I start at the end of August the embryo transfer might be when we've booked a family weekend away! I got a reply from the consultant last night (at 11pm!!) suggesting that I can start the nasal spray on day one instead, then 'scan day 10 to start stimulation.' It means that we won't kill any embryo if there is one, injections won't be on my birthday & I can drink a little bit during the down regulation & transfer won't interfere with the weekend away. It might mean that we have to do the injections on our wedding anniversary so might not be able to go camping as the drugs need to be refrigerated but that's only 1 inconvenience compared to 3.

I'm not sure if he means to start stimulation after the scan, I'll have to check. It involves so much organisation! What do you think? I will ask DH what he thinks too!

It might be the compromise you're looking for blueflower, this new consultant has been good so far hadn't he so why not go with it?

I had my scratch and it was fine, been a bit bloated and tender for a few days but nothing major. I'm doing the short protocol again Loubalouba so will start stims on day 2 which will be next Sunday/Monday I think xx

Blueflower I'm going to be camping when we start ours and will be taking the meds in a plug in cool box. I think the first few days I'm on an epi pen style injection.

My new consultant is great but not very organised. I still don't know if the other drugs have been ordered, if our test results will affect the process, how long I do the nasal spray for and if I need a scan first! The other clinic wasn't very flexible but at least everything was written out clearly with dates! I don't want to start the nasal spray if I haven't got the next drugs ready! Still on the progesterone just in case we've been lucky but its 14DPO tomorrow and had all BFNs so far. But its delaying AF until I know what's happening! I like to be organised then I feel calm, so I don't like not knowing what's happening! I will email the nurses tomorrow, they might be a bit more on the ball!

We are going with family and they don't know that we are having it done so will be trying to do it in private. I find out on Friday what our protocol and meds are. Fingers crossed you get some good news soon xxx

Im on Suprecur Buserelin injections from day 21 (Wed) for two possibly three weeks and then Gonal-F. Not sure what dosage yet. Looking forward to tracking your journies too x

Hi ladies!!

Tiptoes, I have a follow up appointment next week to discuss things so I have many questions to ask. I'm doing ok, also have my first counselling appointment next week...just going to see how it goes! I feel ok when I am distracted but as soon as I am reminded of it or allow myself to think about it...it's so painful! I imagine it's like that for all of us on here though no matter what we have been through! It's so hard at times!!!

Hopefully this year will be the year for us all! I know some of us have been waiting long enough now!!! Xx

I finally got a reply from the consultant! I take the nasal spray for 10 days before the stims this time and be is going to send me a prescription. DH is concerned we won't have the DNA results before EC and it will all be wasted, as we still don't have the ERA results!
