I'm exhausted from this ttc nonsense, and now my university classes is starting up again, and I even have to work extra to pay for all the meds, feeling like every part of my life is refusing me the chance of having my own child.
So I am already looking forward for Christmas when all of this is done and out of mind for a while. I have the entire December off from school so it sounds amazing.

bit of a meh update from me ladies im afriad
went on Monday to start treatment (after AF finally turned up last Friday) but my internal scan showed that both my ovaries were too cystic to start. so now on the pill and metformin combined to try and get them into better shape for next month. really gutted but just got to plod on and see how things look next month. huge hugs to you all x

So today, had my IUI this afternoon. In bed now, full on ovulation pains.
This is our third cycle. 2nd IUI
How is yourcyvle going tigerpaws ?

Thank you for asking crazycatwoman, ny period is due in the weekend or Monday, so I'm having a bottle if wine and some cognac with hubby tonight
hoping so badly it's gonna be my last for quite some time! Finished dosing up my meds for a week so I'm very impatient right now. How about yourself?

Im doing ok, really trying to relax and chill.
I had really bad ovulation pains yesterday, there were 5 follicles in total and fair sized too.
Left me feeling bruised
Started progesterone injections last night. They dont half sting!
Gonna be a long 2ww
Just really wishing for a positive outcome. Its so hard to go through x

Hi crazycatwoman, sadly I already knew I had PCOS but since my last scan the cysts have gotten larger and bigger in number... so just plodding on with these pills and hoping that they calm down a bit. hope you're feeling ok crazycatwoman! im keeping everything crossed for you for the next two weeks!
tigerpaws - I don't blame you having a drink! wish I could at the moment but its a definite no from the hospital
apparently it wont mix well... dang it!

I dont recognise a lot of the names on here so Im guessing u wont recognise mine! 😊. I had an 8month break from all things IVF which I very much needed! Unfortunately I only began this journey at the age of 38 and it was found I had premature ovarian failure and an AMH of 0.6. I had one IUI and 3x IVF with my own eggs but the results were frankly grim so its on to donor products!
Figure this is where updates for my donor embryo cycle should go! AF began on Sunday (because it ALWAYS has to start on a weekend so I have to wait an extra day to confirm what Im taking and when 🙄😏
Am on 6mg progynova a day for 6 days then onto 8mg from there on in and scan is booked in for the 3rd Oct.....need a minimum of 8mm lining by the transfer which I dont believe I cant achieve on those kinds of doses of oestrogen!
Had Prostrap injection ( not a fan of prostrap jabs....flippin hurt they do!!) last week so desperately hoping my ovaries will do what that jab tells them and remain dormant....if I can just not grow a cyst or an egg this month then we r a go for my FET!! 🤞. Is anyone else cycling this month?

Hello 20percent, I'm also cycling this month! My first FET ever! Having my medicine check tomorrow and an us to look for potential growing follicles and endometrium thickness. If everything is well in starting progesterone tomorrow and doing my transfer Tuesday.

I suspect I might get cancelled due to a cyst.. so I'm hoping really hard that I'm not right about it! I can tell I'm not even starting to ovulate as my endometriosis would have warned me, but cysts.. pesky little guys they are!

Update! My us went well, no cysts or follicles developing, endometrium pinpointed at the bottom point of what's acceptable and my transfer is scheduled next Friday!
So next Friday I'm PUPO with my little bean baby! Hooray!
