Ladies doing IUI or IVF - 2016 (11 BFPs so far!)

The estrogen is because I didn't have a ivf just frozen transfer. They use it to help build lining and stop ovulation I think?
I asked about it at one of my appointments and the nurse said you can't stop taking it after transfer otherwise you'll bleed.

One more day to go of meds

Had a clear out today, forgot I still had all the pregnancy notes from my first midwife appointment in a drawer
Disposed of them now! Going to take all the unused meds etc. to a pharmacy to dispose of on Monday.

Just need everything gone, dreading the phonecall on Monday to tell them I'm not pregnant

I had no idea.. thought you were supposed to show estrogen after the transfer, that's what I've heard of..

Having my first egg retrieval tomorrow! So excited, and weirdly enough I am convinced it will be enough!

I think with ivf they don't mess with your natural cycle too much which is why you don't have to take it after a fresh transfer?

Depends on your metabolism, it's just on the border for yes and no!
Take another tomorrow and see if it's clearer!

I got 13 eggs yesterday, and today my body feels a bit beat up.

Only 2 fertilized and one survivor , survivor put back in today.. so hope it's gonna be a nice surprise in 14days

I'm waiting for af after stopping cyclgest and lubion but haven't even had a spot?

I know it's only been since Sunday night that I stopped but both my ivf cycles I had started af before now
Does it take longer to get af after a failed fet?

You are absolutely sure it's failed? If you haven't had your period yet I think the game is still on!

I tested with frer on official test day so it's very unlikely

Just surprised I haven't had anything yet so wondered if estrogen delays it even longer?

Thank you guys for crossing your fingers and hoping with me, it means a lot I am so scared to be excited as this is the only potential baby of all my 13 eggs. I almost cried of disappointment from the fertilization when they inserted this one. Almost feel ungrateful, is it? Its been such a rollercoaster even getting checked for ivf as I've had to fight the system for over a year to get accepted and I wish we'd have a better result.

I can't understand where all you long-timers get all your energy to keep going, I'm so impressed by you guys!

I had 12 collected on second round and only 2 made it to day 5. The numbers can drop so fast but this really could be the one for you xx

At least you know what's happening then! Nice to get an actual answer.
Mine was put in on day 2 after fertilization, and it was the only one that made it... so wierd, that they've decided it's good enough to supervise them only two days.. trying to keep my hopes up, we've been baby-shopping today, hubby thought it was a good way to cheer me up, and now I feel a little bit of hope :3
Bought some car seat protection, a pregnancy-belt for the car and a stroller-down-bag. We live way north so the temperatures easily goes to -20Celsius

Just guessing, I don't know the actual reason why some clinics do early transfer but I think if there is only 1 that is doing okay they will transfer early so they can transfer at least something? I had a 3 day transfer with my first cycle cause there was* only 1.

Do you have kids already? Or just preparing?
We've never purchased anything

I think it's something like them being convinced it's better for the egg being inside the mother ready for implantation?

Just preparing.. we've decided to buy stuff along the way to keep motivation up and not buy everything last minute..
And we've been checking out strollers and beds.

Millie I’m sorry about your cycle. Life can be totally shit!

My failed cycle hit me, I cried all weekend. I’m good now, spoke to the hospital. Their changing my drugs slightly and hoping to go to progesterone injections instead of those horrendous pessaries! I think my progesterone levels were low. After my bloods showed it was only 48, they increased to 3x day but didn’t re check ?
Stared cramping q10 300mg also xxx
