Ladies doing IUI or IVF - 2016 (11 BFPs so far!)

I don't know if I'll have a hard copy by then I was just gonna print off the email copy and show them.
Would be awesome since prescriptions are free here but yeah I'm not sure they'll be able to do anything with it

Just want to get started on treatment

So fed up :(

Hi Everyone

Thanks for comforting.... I am back after emo for these few days.... Trying to get back to be my ownself and try again.... Its so unfair why do we women have to go through all these??? IVF is really tough!!! Hope you girls succeed soon too!!!

I POAS just now & found out the lines are getting darker.... It seems weird !!! Anyone can explain?? I thought it should be getting lighter instead??? I am so confused anyone can help???

not sure hun sorry :(

I'd leave it a few more days then test again and see how the lines are then? xx

my prescription from serum arrived today in the mail soooo.. trying gp first and if not I'll just go to asda and get it. really confused as it looks exactly like their email prescription but with a stamp on it and squiggle? hopefully they'll accept that? I'll find out!

still hating how our doctors/gps work here.. you call the receptionist and they book you in for a telephone appointment with the doctor (and not even one you want!). so now gotta sit and wait til 3.40 for them to call me back!!!!

lol hubby said the doctor might agree cause he's a useless doctor and just prescribes pills for anything and everything instead of being helpful.

Ahh nope he was useless and had no idea what I was talking about and told me to go to a walk in sti clinic
Well that was helpful!!!!!

I get why they wouldn't but now I just feel really offended and angry!

Oh that's annoying! I guess asda it is then? Ours is for OH for sperm improvement programme so the gp prob wont get that.
Annoying he kept saying to go to a clinic for stis grrrr xxx

Yeah he said we can get you in for tests here or go to sti clinic. I've had the tests at gp before and they came back negative? So I doubt they'd find anything if they did them again!

Going to Asda!

Yeah they won't get that!

xx

Asda had no problems with my prescription! But didn't have it in stock so have to go back on Monday to collect. It's only £13??? I hope they've got that right! Then we'll start them on Tuesday!

Yep! Just took the print out they mailed me, no issues at all and they didn't ask me any questions about it :D xx

All they said was. sorry we don't have enough but we'll order the rest and you can collect them Monday.
Soooo hopefully no problems picking them up Monday!

Ladies I'm so upset, have been led thinking about this hidden Chlamydia infection, well I had the infection in my mid 20's, was treated and had maybe 3 test since then all negative. So this means I have probably had this infection in my uterus for over 20 yrs ?. I'm led here crying as my insides are probably damaged beyond repair. I know I caught pregnant last September and I'm blaming the loss on all this as well. How do I go about seeing if I have any damage from it ?, will I need a hsg or whatever you call it, and can I have it done privately?. xx

Lillith, I know the feeling it's a real worry.
Hopefully you'll be treated all treated soon and on the way to your rainbow.

I'm not sure of the right test to check I would ask Serum or hopefully someone here knows. xx

Maybe would be a hysterescopy? (not sure how to spell it lol) they can remove scarring then too.
I can't decide whether to get the hidden testing done but the antibiotics from the bite I had should of got rid of it if i did as it was the equivalent of that doxy whatever? xxx

Xmillie, I think at age 45 my time has truly run out, I can't see it ever happening now as I am sure my insides will be messed up and tubes will be blocked. I think that's it, this is the end of the road. xx

Now I'm even more upset as Penny emailed me telling me that this hidden Chlamydia infection is chronic and the antibiotics don't cure it, they just reduce the infection and reduce inflammation, it will never go away !!! so I've got this Chlamydia for life. I actually feel physically sick, can life get any worse. xx

Oh really?
I don't know a great deal about it, is it not something they can cure at all??
Guess I'm stuck this way too! Hm... :(

This is from google:
The antibiotic treatment is almost always (95% of the time) effective in treating chlamydia. We offer two antibiotics, azithromycin and doxycycline. Azithromycin is taken as a single dose, doxycycline is taken as a one week course.

i was prescribed both of those, did you get offered the same?

Went to asda and picked up the antibiotics for OH. only £9.37 for his 40 day course so 80 tablets. Was expecting much more! He is starting from tomorrow. Fingers crossed it improves his sperm a lot in the next test xxx
