thinking stars/fairy dust dunno just like it! it would in part 'mark' almost this journey. it feels its such a key part of my life. i just hope i do not regret it. really i do.

I think it sounds like a nice idea, it's not a "TTC" tattoo but when you look back on it you will remember a time when you were struggling with something and how strong you were to overcome it

i like it for that reason. but i dislike it because what if i am infertile? what if its not just my husband thats got issues and me as well.. we havent done any real tests on me.. we dont know if my scan will be bad or if i have blocked tubes etc.. worried for that reason.. but at same time i think if it works & we conceive, how awesome it will be to see it in years to come-

Just go to an artist and tell them what you want and they will design it, that is their job.

Always nice to get others peoples thoughts/opinions? Torn over how to do it. Yes they will prob help me design it but still its a big thing & i never done it before so .. feedbacks always nice

If I was to do it, I would add the date when we started TTC, and maybe later on you can always add the date you and your so were successful? it could be a double edge sword though the important is that you know that looking at it one day (if things don't go as planned) you are not going to be upset about it.
Then again, you can always remove it with laser...

I am a newbie to tattoos so its nice to hear other peoples opinions it wasnt a easy decision to make and it just feels like i cant express why i want one to people i know but i think my mums v suspicious so doesnt seem keen on me doing it

thank you sock. i dont know why but this has always been important to me in life, ive wanted to have a baby since 2011 but stupid sensible'ness prevented it till basically jan 2018.
i feel a need to put it on me.
its also a fairly pretty tattoo.. wil be a heart surrounded by pixie dust/stars peter pan themed basically! i wasnt sure whether to have a plain normal heart or a heart with swirls? haha. shall see how today ends, i hope im brave enough to have it done!!

I totally agree about it being a double edged sword. For me personally, I couldn't have lived with a tattoo that I'd got in relation to TTC if things hadn't worked out for us in the end. After 3 long years of trying, I really was at a point where I needed an end, good or bad, and I'd have had a lot more trouble moving forward if I had a tattoo reminding me every day.

Just my personal view of course and if you want a tattoo then absolutely get it but I'd just be careful about linking it psychologically with TTC.

Thanks for everyones feed back etc. but here i am with that tattoo!! such a experience. im glad i had it for experience alone. its so weird! its like you are cutting yourself as you feel like your about to bleed everywhere. (in the end i did bleed everywhere as well) mostly it was more a oh that hurt/caught me a bit. sometimes it was like a oh now that did catch me a bit.. but tbh pain was very managable and im very susceptable to pain! ill be chaging my profile pic to it later. atm its all wrapped up! im so pleased with it i love it! yes its linked to ttc and ill know that forever but at the moment i love it and feel at peace with myself in some weird way but mostly what a experience! im glad i did it based on that alone!!

Its in a awkward place to photograph. Lower arm & not the under part and not upper part either the middle part (if you can imagine) so its its visable but also hidden

Id say as long as you know what you want do it! Its so worth it. Its not a complete joy but its such a weird surreal experience i come out glad id experienced it in life
