Thanks for the support ladies! Little less stressed today but feeling really nauseous today.. isn't 5 weeks early for nausea? My DD had 40 degrees fever and cough last night so not much sleep for me!!

Good to hear things have eased off JemRose.. its so scary until thr first scan! I check for blood everytime i go to the toilet even though i still havent had any! Xx

Scans are definitely most reliable for getting your dates. I guess the online calculators are mostly fun to do x

Well I came off the pill end of June and haven't really had a period.

I had a bit of a bleed start of October so the doctor has gone by that date and that's where the 6 weeks has come from. I really don't think I am 6 weeks but who knows, I guess I'll find out for sure at my first scan!

JemRose very short you prob are slightly more than you think. Its all approximate and you won't know until scan. But if I put my date into a calculator with your cycle length instead of mine it would make me 8 weeks . If you know when you ovulate and put that in they're pretty close xx

Oh hope DDs fever is down today!! Temps are my last favourite thing to deal with. Dd used to get an instant fever with teething every time I hated it. :/

With DD I never really got anything until 10weeks! This time it's been from 5 so every pregnancy is different I certainly would worry about it. It just sucks lol xx

yes me too!! I literally just brushed against a wall (because my already huge boobs are absolutely massive now) and thought I'd been shot in the nipple hahaha so sore! xx

Ohhh sickness... I've threw up in the car twice. I'm weird I've been having nausea every other day :/ and when I think of food makes me feel sick buy I can eat or fine. Trying to eat beans on toast atm and nearly threw up. Boob's didn't hurt with dd occasionally get abit of leaking but that's cos dd is so young.
The tiredness is bad tho anyone else? Was in bed for 8 with bloodshot eyes like I'd been up 24 hours! X

my nausea started at 5 weeks, I wear my sickness bands now and it's not too bad.

I have been sick most nights before bed this week but that's because I have reflux and when I try and take gaviscon before bed it just won't go down and my dinner comes back up I'll discuss with the midwife and I should be able to get some ranitidine

yes I've been so tired. during the day I feel pretty good but then 6pm comes and I'm shattered. been going to bed at 8. managed 9 last night to be nice to oh but I didn't enjoy it. I'd have rather slept than watch tele

Oh wow, so sickness could be around the corner. Not looking forward to it!

I haven't been that tired so far, still going to bed around 11pm. What I do have is maybe a couple of waves of tiredness during the day where I feel like my eyes are going to close and I'm going to fall asleep at my desk. After a wee while it passes.

Also, I have my first doctor's appointment tomorrow and she'll then refer me to the midwife, but should I be asking for the flu jab tomorrow?

Thanks, that's what I was thinking but I hate needles! Oh well, better prepare myself for all the other needles involved in pregnancy

Flu jab takes two seconds, I'm not a fan of needles either tbh. DD has hers on Friday after playing up when we went the first time lol x
