Hi all, I have my 3rd early scan tomorrow morning I will be 7 weeks so hoping to hear the heartbeat. Very nervous!! I have gone off food completely today.. having some tightness in my lower belly hoping that’s normal

Really random morning question but does anyone else think is there really a baby growing inside me!
Even thou I've done 2 positive pregnancy tests I still think what if I'm actually not pregnant lol!
I think my mind is over thinking things
I'm also really struggling to sleep the past few nights and usually I have no issues sleeping

Definitely! As this is my first I find the whole thing hasn't really sunk in yet. The symptoms I have right now are also just a bit more severe than PMS but nothing new so far.

This is my second and even tho I did like 20 test I still on occasion wonder if the baby is ok and if the heart is beating etc etc. x

God what a night. DD got a fever, shakes, sickness last night out of nowhere and went floppy. Just back from hospital. She's still got it but she's sleeping now. No idea what caused it. Had no sleep and I'm so so exhausted but I can't go to sleep :/

I already dread the idea of DD bring home a sickness bug and passing it to me and baby.
my reflux is bad this morning but that could be because I had beans on toast for breakfast, I feel like I could go back to bed. I've dropped DD at nursery so going to do enough tidying so oh thinks I've been busy then watch a film and hopefully nap

ive got my first midwife apt on 7th Dec, ill be 8 weeks. last night I booked a private early scan to have the same day at 7pm that evening. 3 weeks to wait.
I hate this waitng game, I'm so impatient. I just need the reassurance that everything is fine that's why ive booked an early scan. the place had a special offer on too so its only £29.

Oh wow!! I looked into early scans in case they didn't offer me one. £89 in my area.
2 weeks until my midwife appointment, I know how you feel it's so stressful waiting and wondering, not knowing what's going on.
I'm glad but also scared I'm having the scan tomorrow, I'm really worried about the bleeding and cramping etc, but I so hope it's nothing! x

Thanks ladies. She's had a sleep and she's fine except her temp is still high :/ it was almost 41 this morning. She's currently on my bed having an ice lolly watching paw patrol so she's feeling fine in general. They want me sponging her down every so often, since nothing else is taking this fucking temp down, which she hates and cries about. I wouldn't like it either. I have no idea why she has one so far. She doesn't seem to have anything?
Morning sickness hit hard this morning too. I feel so ill and I'm throwing up constantly it feels like. Didn't go into work this morning and they had no real warning so I'll probably hear about that but I don't care . So generally being a bit pathetic and feeling sorry for myself lol
Shepherdess gaviscon works for my reflux. The girl at the chemist told me now reflux is considered a pregnancy illness. So you can get stuff for it on prescription free xx

41?! Shoot.. that is high!! I often find that calpol is useless alone and temp only goes down if I give her calpol and then nurofen 3hrs later. Poor girl and poor you!!! Don't worry about work, take care of DD and yourself xx

I really don't know when to tell my manager, I want to wait until the 12 week scan, but then I also would like to announce it then also. My scan should be between Christmas and new year and I'm off work then. I don't want her to hear through word of mouth, so I'm a bit stuck.
I'm wondering whether to tell her before I go off for Christmas. I'm so scared though as only joined here in July and I think she's going to go mental!!! x
