**** july mummies 2018 *****

I'm so lucky I haven't wanted to vomit. But I do feel sick to my stomach, my partner made me breakfast this morning and I took one look at it and wanted to puke! I felt so bad, but really can't even stomach the thought of eating anything at the moment!! x

sorry you've been a bit stressed jemrose, fingers crossed all is well

welcome to all the new arrivals, you don't come on here for a while and miss loads

I've been dwelling quite well the last few days, it definitely comes and goes for me. my husband said this morning he'd told his brother our news while drunk at the weekend so we've just his sister to tell now out of immediate family

looking forward to my booking app on Friday and getting my scan date. also looking forward to getting my "I'm pregnant" card, I'm overdue at the dentist by 2 months but waiting until I can get it for free

Yay for the appointment! It is so good to have the scan date as something you can look forward to and count down days to xx

A little update from me: this morning has so far been the worst for nausea. I got up for work and ended up sitting on the toilet for 20min covered in cold sweats and fighting the urge to vomit!! I managed to get dress and now sitting at work feeling so nauseous :( Hope everybody else is ok xx

Have you eaten anything hun? Currently sitting eating crackers trying to ease mine while OH gets DD ready. Thank god for our late start weeks. Xx

I forced myself to have a bit of a rich tea biscuit and it seemed to have helped. Feeling better now, just had a banana. I think I will have a biscuit left next to my bed tomorrow morning x

Yeah apparently empty stomachs make it worse. That's what I do with the crackers and eat them before I get up. Seems to help a little. Ugh. Hopefully this passes for all of us soon!

How's your little one doing, has she still got hand foot and mouth? Xx

Yeah this suck so bad! I really hope it passed after Tri 1 is over!!! x

Ahh I'm Friday too! I'm excited for the scan really hoping it will just make it before Christmas. Lol mental image of you walking into the dentist overdue and smugly slapping an "I'm pregnant so it's free card" on the desk haha xx

I was looking into the scan dates and we are meant to be scanned between 10 and 14 weeks according to NHS. I will be 14 weeks on 7th January so will have to be scanned by then. I really hope they can squeeze me in end of December! I would hate for them to leave it until week 14 x

14 weeks is sooooo late I would go insane waiting that long! Everyone I've know has always been 12 weeks give or take a few days. Fx !! Xx

Edit: posts are coming too fast keep missing them lol. Aw good news about your DD. Absolutely fingers crossed for our virus free houses for Christmas with these kiddies! Xx

I do not want to wait so long but we may not have a choice unless they can scan us in last week of Dec (slim chances) or the week before! Fingers crossed x

I'll be 12 weeks on 27th December, so I don't know when I'll get my scan!! I think I'll try and push for it though with the bleeding and the cramping x

I'm glad the hand foot and mouth has gone, kids are a nightmare for bugs in the winter

so I've been on an online calculator this morning which takes into account cycle length and I'm 8 weeks today which means I'll be 12 on 13th Dec so I should definitely get my scan before Xmas. it did also give me a due date of 28th June but I think I'll stick in July mummies as it might change with my scan and my dd was 9 days late anyway

What calculator was that Shepherdess? I think I want to do one that takes into account cycle length x

Been to my doctors appointment this morning and he has predicted my due date as 11/07/18!

He has estimated me at 6 weeks, even thou clear blue said 2-3 weeks, had anyone had this before?

The doc did say that the date will more than likely change once I see the midwife.

But the ball is rolling now :):):)

Just done one with my cycle length and says I'm a week further than I am - so 7 weeks. (I had short cycles). Does that actually mean anything?

You're the same as me :D

I'm 6 weeks today and due 11th July. Couple weeks ago I got 2-3 on clear blue - it goes from date of conception not date of last period so the clear blue is correct you conceived 2-3 weeks ago, but doctors date your pregnancy from date of last period x

I think it can change once you've had a scan anyway but I guess its just because if you have shorter cycles (I do) you'll ov earlier and conceive earlier than most but it doesn't really mean anything.

last pregnancy I put my edd at 28th april, taking into account my shorter cycles, the midwife said 8th may, my scan at 12 weeks said 24th April but she was born 3rd may. ever changing

You won't know for sure but I would take it into account. That how mine changed because I have long cycles so found a calculator with cycle length. I ovulate later than you will if you have short cycles. How long are they usually? I'm either 6 or 7 weeks and won't know till my scan xx

Honestly there is no point using these calculators, the docs will count from the day of your last period anyway with an average cycle length. Hardy any babies are born on their due date anyways :D

Mine were usually 24 days xx

They aren't any good for me, my cycles are between 30-34 days. And my ovulation is all over the place. Sometimes it doesn't happen, sometimes so late to be too late for getting pregnant. I won't know until the scan. But if you're regular then they can be handy xx
