Yes hun thanks I'm fine despite it lol. Have to learn to take these flipping capsules :/ How's you and dd holding up? Xx

Oh no! Good luck with that! x

We are both ok, thank you. No fever for me anymore! X

ouch 4-9 dunno how you do it!! I used to do care work and work 1-10, it was the worst shift ever :(

Hubby does 5-10 and does not like it one bit. He's a chef x

Although I work 8:30 - 4:30 with a half an hour drive to work and back. It's so tiring!! x

Lol I used to work at maccies, shifts were 11pm to 7-8am. 7pm-5:30am. Or 1pm to 11pm. Couldn't do it while preg! I left my job at subway when o was preg with Scarlett I was doing 7 day weeks 9am to 6:30pm I was shatterd... Hubby told me to quit so o did heh.
I would love to go back to work though! X

I'm work 4-9 like tonight and 8-1. Then sometimes a sleep which is a 24 hr shift.

When I tell them I'm pregnant I get took off that. I'm okay at the min. I do 2 placements. One is more support work with assisted living for 10. Meds supervision cooking, personal care taking them places ttc. The other is more 24 hr complete care for 2 clients with learning and physical disabilities.

Tonight I'm in the assisted living which is pretty easy at the min as everyone is out or having dinner tonight. A lot of sitting around waiting tonight. I'm lucky I love my job even though it can get violent in here which I'm a litte worried about now I'm pregnant. Here we carry personal alarms in peoples flats as there a few who attack every so often . Never happened to me yet.

I'm getting tired having nothing to do though.

I posted a new thread of my scan today. Feeling abit more positive about it. Holding on to hope.
I did an opk ... And the test line had stole all the ink so the control line was barely visable. That never happened with Scarlett. Ah 2 weeks gonna drag x

So good to log on and read this.

Right I am confused as anything!!!!

My first midwife appointment was booked for 6th December, I'll be 9 and a half weeks by then and GP told me to be seen at 8 weeks. I just worked out dates and rang to change the appointment for the week before. I get told by the receptionist that the midwife won't see me until 16 weeks. I said to her but the doctor told me 8 weeks and she said no midwife definitely won't see you until 16!!

What about my scan? I'm not waiting until 16 weeks. I have no idea what she's talking about!!! She gave me a number for a nearby hospital if I have any complications in the meantime. Might just ring them and try and work out what on earth is going on?!

Has anyone heard of this? 16 weeks for booking appointment?? Why would GP say 8 weeks and then receptionist dismisses that and says no 16 weeks?! I work in a GP surgery and have never heard of the receptionists here being allowed to do anything without checking with the doctor. If doctor says 8 weeks they should have checked before booking me in at 16 weeks surely?!
I called to book mine today and I got told I have to be seen between 8 and 10 weeks?

Just a quick one ladies... is it normal to feel tightness? Sorry.. don’t know how else to explain it. It doesn’t feel like cramps.. just tightness..? I’m only 6 weeks. My scan on Friday showed the sac and yolk inside. Nurse said it all looked fine. But I know how quick things can change. Probably just being over paranoid as usual but just wanted to see if anyone else is feeling the same?

I'm sat on the sofa with distinct pinching on the right side of my uterus. It was the left side doing it in work earlier. I've been getting it on and off for about a week now so I'm keeping just on top of the worrying.

Cramping is perfectly normal during pregnancy, as are lots of sensations down there so do try not to worry. If you get bleeding with it, you can go to A&E...but if it's cramping alone, you're most likely absolutely fine xxx

Same as what gg said it's normal. I had really bad one side pain the other day but all is OK. Everything is moving x

I'm off to bed ladies, can barely keep my eyes open. Hope you all manage a good nights sleep. Xxx
