Just saw these in 2nd tri. Beautiful, how did consultant appointment go? Xx

It went well thank you. I was given the option to choose elective c-section due to last labour being a difficult one. I will have to think long and hard about it!!! But I think for my own safety and more important the safety of the baby I may go for the c-section x

Time is dragging big time!!! I'll actually been 13+1 for my scan that's going by the dates they gave me at last weeks scan xx

Random girls but my pork loins arent completely defrosted in the fridge for tea. Would you thinks it's safe for me to defrost the rest in the micro before cooking? On the defrost setting I mean. I am such a panicker when pregnant!

I can't think why that wouldn't be safe? If you use the proper setting? Make sure you cook it a bit longer xx

Just take them out and pop them on the side now. You'll be absolutely fine to cook them up until 8pm then with no need to microwave as even on defrost, it'll make them rubbery. If you need them sooner, pop them in a sandwich bag and immerse in hot water. Not boiling, just tap hot and refresh the water a few times. Just make sure the bag is sealed.

Pork instant more of a danger than any other meat nowadays. If you don't have one already, a kitchen thermometer is an absolute life saver. Xx

If you make it yourself Yes, if it's from a shop, personally I wouldn't. It's a huge solid tube of reformed meat. Like mince, it's got a higher risk of bacteria as the bacteria from the meats surface is spread throughout the end product. Add to that that these are bought in frozen in 99.9% of kebab places and unless you absolutely kniw and trust how they defrost/reheat before putting out in front of customers, it's a risk I wouldn't take when pregnant.
