Well as soon as the ultrasound went on the baby was waving at mummy and daddy. Then baby went all shy and turned it's back on us, kept tossing and turning and camera shy lol definitely my child! Saw the heartbeat and I just feel so relieved and excited and words can't even explain it!
Been brought forward 4 days so I'm 13 weeks today and due 7th July :) which matches what I worked out with my cycle length. I'm beyond happy. Hope everyone is okay! Will upload a pic later in kfc at the moment xx
 
Buying my pillow soon lol. Believe me by 3rd trimester you'll know all about trying to sleep with a bump lol. It's ridiculous Between that and peeing every five minute I don't think I slept more than 2 hours straight the last 8 weeks

Anyone going for a side sleeper? Instead of a Moses basket? I know we talked about it a while ago. Had a look at the Chicco next2me crib the other day and I really like it. Xx

Yay Jem glad all went well! It's so strange the first time you see baby it's hard to stop picturing it after lol. Enjoy KFC you and baby haha xx

Yes, the Chicco is the one I like as well. I like the idea of a side sleeper in the bedroom as Dan wants to be as involves as me aside from actually breastfeeding, lol. Will have a Moses basket in the living room for day use.

Same with OH lol. DD hated her swinging crib last time and was too long for her Moses basket in 10ish weeks, despite being 6lb 11 at birth lol.

There's also the Jane babyside which won awards, supposed to be bigger, last longer too and comes with bedding. But I want to see them all before buying. Can't believe it's time to start getting baby stuff! Xx

Fela and Jemrose glad your scans went well. Amazing and really to weird to see them wriggling around isn't it. Ours was also pretty much waving at us and then started wriggling around :)
So tempted to buy another pic, where you can see the leg and the hand by the face. :lol:

I started making a list on stuff we will need. Anyone else considering reuseable nappies? :)

i would love a next to me to make breastfeeding easier during the night and for closeness but I've already got a Moses basket, swinging crib and cot from last time so I really shouldn't spend anymore money on a next to me. if baby is anything like DD I think I'll probably just co-sleep. I was really reluctant to last time out of fear of sids but we coslept from 5 months so I'm not going to stress myself too much trying to get baby into a crib

really pleased for those of you who have had scans the last few days. so glad all is well

edited to add; No MrsLK I'm not using reusable nappies. I just don't think I could keep up with the laundry. I'm terrible as it is so reusable just isn't for me

My list making is not going well, keep changing my mind, good job I got awhile yet. :lol:
I would like to try reuseables, but as with everything there is always so much choice and you always get some people loving one brand and other people hating it. :eh:

Sorry to hear some of you ladies can't get a good night sleep. I was like that for a while but thank God it is a bit better now.

Still a bit early for a pregnancy pillow for me but come closer to Tri 3 and I will be taking it out of the wardrobe!

So far I only bought a small travel cot with changing base to be used in the living room for napping and changing. We need a safe place that is high enough so that DD can't reach the baby.

I am actually scared to think of how our sleeping arrangement is going to be!! DD and I still co-sleep and I don't see her sleeping alone in time for the baby. I really need to form some kind of plan here otherwise I will be co-sleeping with 2!!! x

I bought some maternity clothes from salea and really wished I knew the gender now so I could buy some baby clothes too, sale prices are crazy good!!! x
 
Think the neck on the baby is so long I might be having a giraffe haha!! No idea on it being a boy or girl! X
 
Our dd had always slept in a crib next to us. The last 2 nights she's screamed until she's in with us :/ so haven't slept much worry about crushing her.
Haven't bought anything at all. Might go buy something after our gender scan. Don't need anything really.
Dating scan in a few days, 3rd. Glad all your scans went well ladies. Fab pics :) x
