Gtt was horrible. Felt so sick and the nurse struggled getting blood out of me for the first lot of blood and the 2nd lot was much worse have 5 holes in my arms now and 1 on each hand.
The glucose drink was vile.
 
Hey ladies, I have my 20 weeks scan tomorrow at 3 I'm super keen to see baby again and thank you guys so much for being supportive I'm sorry I'm not online much I see some of you have found out the gender of baby congratulations! I have decided to go ahead for an elective c section because I'm genuinely not willing to risk an emergency all over again due to problems as they want to use a low dose of induction mendication which honestly no thanks haha so I'll be booking my date 25th of June as I'll be 39 weeks but I may be allowed trial of labour first which I'll update tomorrow :) xxx
 
Violet that sounds like a sensible plan.

Good luck for tomorrow I also have a scan though not 20 weeks yet...

Midwife said they'd book me in for a scan at 25 weeks too, As I lost Ivy at 25 weeks last time so, would be best to put my mind at ease.

Getting a bit big to be lugging my massage couch around now... Needs must though

Violet nice to see you back! Sounds like the best decision for c section for you And baby. It's lovely that you know a date!

I've not been around much either as I've got a new phone and its horrible to type on! We're doing well still plodding on at work although feeling pretty tired, not much rest to be had with a 1 year old and 4 year old lol, I don't know how people have 6 kids I really don't! Got GTT and growth scans starting at 28 weeks due to previous big babies. I'm 21 weeks today! Had 20 week scan last week and all good and baby's still a girl ha, can't remember if I updated xx
 
I am being overly paranoid today.. I just feel so 'normal' and think this can't be right, surely?? I seem to be having a very easy pregnancy (so far) and people always give me a funny look when I say I don't feel pregnant, I feel fine.. my belly has definitly grown but some days it seems to disappear and other days It looks huge.

I've had no reason to think anything is wrong, no bleeding or pain but then in my head I'm thinking that's a bad thing (that's how crazy im being right now!).. but I've had nothing else either, I can't feel anything when I touch my stomach and there's no sign of movement..

I have my scan next Friday so hopefully that will ease my mind.. anybody else feeling the same?

My first 2 pregnancies were really easy lovely, I didn't feel at all pregnant with either of them. I've been more sick with this one (although only in 2nd tri strangely), I think it sounds like you're just one of the lucky ones:) xx

Also if you're 19 weeks then I wouldn't really expect movement for another week or 2, my first baby I felt him move for first time the day of my 20 week scan when I was 20+3 I think :) xx I know it's worrying though I think we worry until they're here and then we worry until they're 18 lol xx

I feel the same I'm constantly worrying I've seen the scan and baby moves but sometimes will be really quiet for the day and I get worried, also keep thinking something is going to happen :(
 
I've been feeling really un-pregnant of late as well! My bum has even stopped bleeding :D

Less than 3 weeks until the anomaly scan, woohoo! Excited to hear updates, SalisburyMum and Violet!
 
Lol CNM, that's good to know, no-one likes a bleeding bum! :D

Lots of scans coming up, so exciting! Mines the 24th! xx


 
Scan in an hour... Currently sat in a soft play with the kids... Am nervous as hell
 
I remember with my son i never really felt pregnant untill he was kicking me in the ribs (not fun) its compleatly normal at this stage.

Had the results of the Gtt and i don't have Gesational diabetes which i'm slightly dissapointed about as im constantly dizzy and fainting. Would have been nice to have an answer and medication to stop it.
 
Hey lovelies we'll I've had my scan but have to go back just to do some checks as baby was in an awkward position head down and ready to go haha also my placenta is on the back this time and not too low where as my first it was antierior. We have found out the gender :D I'm so happy to announce we are having a boy!! I did think girl but I'm so happy to have another son xxx
