Jld in Spain havin big problems

Haven't read whole thread.. not got time, must go shopping! But just wanted to say that my friend had her baby at 30weeks in a Spanish hospital and she got absolutely excellent care. Baby is now a fighting fit little 4 yearold
Not sure if you're still in Spain or not, just wanted to reassure you that you'll be fine if you are I know how scary hospitals are, and more so when hardly anyone speaks English. Sending hugs xx

oh no hope she and baby are okay my friend had pre eclempsia with my god daughter and she was only 5lb when born but she is fit and healthy and nearly 2 now keep us updated xxx

So glad to see your posts and that your being well looked after. A friend of my OH's gave birth to twins at 30 weeks and they are both absolutely fine. Also a friend of mine gave birth at 24 weeks and her little boy is fine too... just think your little girl has had 6 extra weeks cooking time than that! Hello luv. Had a bit of good news. My blood pressure is stable, the pre eclampsia is manageable my swelling has gone Down and they reckon I will be ok to fly home by air ambulance today an go straight to my local hospital. What a relief !! I'm glad she can cook a little longer too. Also, just found out that this hospital is public and we won't have to pay a penny ! Internet isn't working so if u could pass on the news. Hope you are well. I'm so relieved it's unreal. X

Wow that's excellent news! Will the air ambulance be like a private plane? Obviously would be better if not needed, but in a small way - how exciting! Hope the transfer goes smoothly and baby can cook a while longer before anything needs doing xx

So here's the latest. After waiting 6 hours to hear from the insurance company to confirm a flight for me they didn't call so I called them back. They told me that the doctor Here in Spain said I am not fit to fly and that I should have the baby here. I spoke to the nurse who called the doctor and she said she didn't say that atall and that I need to be flown home today or tomorrow if I am to leave. I called the insurance company back an they said they will re call the doctor but it may not be until tomorrow. Wat a fuckin joke. Im so distraught. I just wnt to go home . The doctors and nurses are saying I'm fit to but the insurance company are being arseholes ! X

what a nerve racking waiting game. So furious with the insurance company. The doctors here are baffled as to why in still here ! Thank god it's a lovely hospital with lovely staff and yummy food. My bf has gone back to Alcudia an hour away as we have to check out tomorrow of our hotel so hea staying there tonight and packing up all our stuff. Cancelling his flight home tomorrow and coming back here to me. I'd be falling apart without him xx

aww hun you will get home stupid insurance company we ended up in hospital with my dd when we went alcudia god know what was wrong with her she wouldnt stop screaming in pain they gave her this medicine and it was like magic she stopped crying after a nights stay she was discharged to this day i dont have a clue what was wrong with her
