Silly question but have they put a needle in your arm yet or will they only do that if you need the drip?? xxx

No needle! Just had a tablet in my cervix so have to wait 6 hours for that and see what happens...
Think needle is when and if I have the drip. They said the tablet may be enough to start things and I've started having mild back pains so fingers crossed!
Ml600 - they told me I would have antibiotics if it goes over 48 hours I think (or something like that) so if he's born soon we won't need any. xxx

Ooh that's good, I'm petrified of needles, im a nurse that's scared of needles haha! Don't mind jabbing them in people but I run a mile if they are getting jabbed in me! I'm hoping when I'm induced on weds that they will just give me the gel and I'll go myself... I really hope, but ive got a big baby in there so might end up having a section or something im not even bothered anymore I just want to meet my baby xxx

Never had a smear but i know what ypur talking about! Iv never heard of a gel being used for induction. What is it?
Wont be long now! Im hoping to wake up tomorrow and see youve had him haha! After i had my pessary put in i got mild cramping in my back. Fx this is the start of things progressing for you! Xx

Yes mummybee my back is aching loadssss and I keep getting the odd period like cramp now. What happened for you then? Xx

Sounds promising!!! I would keep active! Unfortunately i went and got into the bath and it stopped everything. I was gutted!! I then had another pessary put iN 5 hrs after that and nothing... ended up getting waters broke and the drip in. Xx

Ahh I'm trying to get some sleep now though As they want to put drip in at 12pm so want to sleep I case I start getting painful contractions and can't sleep! Shame it's not earlier on in the day as I would be running up and down the corridors lol. Will see what happens. Xxx

Im such a tit. I didnt even think about the time haha! Your right tho. Best trying to get a bit of kip as more than likely things will definately get going tomorrow. It can only be a good thing they put the drip in atleast then itl go quicker. Id love the drip in again if it meant my labour went as quick as last time! Xx
