wooooo i am in labour :D:D:D:D

well ive had a good night....... woke up more from being excited than anything else LOL, not had any pain at all, when i stand up i get a massive feeling of pressure but nothing interesting happening.

Going shopping today though as get the feeling on Tuesday ill be otherwise busy..... either in labour or holding my baby

hopefully the walk will do me good and get things going, im not leaking anymore fluid though, which i find strange..... though readin my notes that MW has filled in it says

" soaked pad and bed with clear liquor- membranes not intact, uterus contracting though Sarah cant feel it " which i guess is only a good sign

I think my hopes of a water birth are sinking fast though, and i really dont want induction as really didnt like it last time.... but hey if i get my bubba i dont care

thanks for the good luck comments, im still taking the raspberry leaf in the hope it will get my uterus contracting more!!!!!

thanks very much,im getting a few twinges but still nothing painful, baby is moving around loads, looks like ill be going in tomorrow, just had to ring delivery suite as i wasnt sure if i was allowed a bath she said its fine as long as its plain water..... still cant see why i cant have a water birth but im allowed a bath

if you really want a water birth that badly why dont you insist on one? midwifes are there in an advisory way and they are guided by their policies. as long as you know the pros and cons of having a water birth when your waters have been broke for a while, it is your decision, that is your right. they have to deliver you by law regardless of any policy they work too. just because you are going into hospital you dont have to abide by their rules, the policies are there as a recommendation or an opinion on whats best, not as an only option. its your baby and your birth no one has the right to over rule that.

im gonna ask when i go in, im getting twinges now not very strong but theres definitely something happening,

i cant understand though that they are happy for me to have a bath, but i cant labour in water which they know is sterile, in their birthing pool, im gonna ask and hopefully might be able to have one still, i get the feeling its only my hind waters not my forewaters as ive not been leaking today, just getting lots of pressure really 8)
