Maybe you ovulated earlier than you thought? Or maybe it’s just spotting. I have spotted from 1dpo until af before. It was a nightmare, but it doesn’t mean you’re out, I did get a positive that month but I did have a cp shortly sfter

I suppose I could of ovulated earlier than I thought.
I am on cycle day 21 could implantation be poss? I’ve never actually had this before if it is implantation and I’ve never spotted this early if it’s not!

I can only echo what the others have said, when I had my chemicals I got a positive on frer but it didn’t get darker.

I’m sorry Bonjourkatie, I’d agree with night owl, it’s very rare to get false positives on a test, an evap is one thing but your tests were pink and clearly positives so not an evap. I’d say this has been a chemical, I also agree that there’s probably not much the doctor would do but I probably would contact so that it’s on your record that it happened x

April i don’t think it would be Implantation at 3dpo hun. That would be way too early.
It could well be ovulation spotting though x

I really couldn’t say... felt that sort of twinge but can’t say for sure.

*for other people to look at i copied this off another forum! its about when you would get a positive hcg if implanting 8dpo etc..


hCG doubles every 48 hours. You can have a level of 1 - 5 in a non pregnant state.

Implantation could belater than you think.

If a woman implants at 8dpo, with a 'non pregnant' hCG level of 1 [Which is totally normal] it would rise as follows

8dpo - 1miu hcg
10dpo - 2miu
12dpo - 4miu
14dpo [Day AF (Aunt Flo - menstruation/period) is typically due] - 8miu
16dpo - 16miu

So this lady wouldn't finnd out until 15dpo on a very senstive 10miu pregnancy test, superdrug own or possibly asda own. Obviously if she implants LATER than 8dpo [which is normal] she will find out even later.

Now, Take a lady who implants at 8dpo, But has a'Non pregnant' hCG level of 5. Hers looks like this;

8dpo - 5miu
10dpo- 10miu - Could find out here on superdrug own, internet cheapie
12dpo - 20miu - Could find out here with freedom cheapie strip/most poundland tests and asda own]
14dpo - 40miu [day period is typically due] Most tests would pick it up here

So, This lady, Even though implantation is on the same say for both ladies, Can find out MUCH sooner. Now, If this lady were to implant at 6dpo she could potentially find out at just 8dpo. But if the first lady were to implant at 12dpo, She would find out even later, Even if they have the same cycle and OV (ovulation) days!

You are probably right! Maybe it was just a random thing. It’s frustrating. I haven’t been worrying about if I conceived or not this month as I’m only ttc c1! But now....now I need to know

I don’t think anyone has started one yet... I’ve started a few recently so I thought I’d let someone else have a go haha. Sorry to hear AF came for you. You’ve been quiet on here recently, I hope you’re ok? We are always here for you x

So wrote a whole post on my TTC journal but the TLDR is:

• Nurse rang me to discuss my situation
• She referred me for an ultrasound (got to wait for a letter)
• Told her about the positive tests and said it could be a new pregnancy as I’ve had negatives since the MC
• She wants me to do blood tests 3 days apart to check whether HCG is rising or falling.

So glad I’m being taken seriously!

Does anyone check their cervix in the 2ww? Keep reading its pos dangerous to do so causing micro organisms to travel up by accident? I stopped when read this but is there truth in it?
I suppose you dont need check cervix to find af?

Hi girls! I am on cd21 (a week before period due) and my breasts are still achy and feel like on fire! I'm sitting in the office for the past two days and feel like screaming or putting eyes on them ;p however my twinges stopped.. so I am back to not being very hopeful...

I check mine! I always clean my hands properly - I just like to check for ov/Af etc even in the 2WW! My thinking for infection is that I might have sex and I am sure that isn’t always as clean as my washed hand!

My spotting was like pink discharge today trying not to get my hopes up that it could be implantation bleeding. I have no other symptoms apart from cramping. Checking my cervix it is soft and semi high - again trying not to read into this as I know it isn’t 100% reliable!

I am going to test on Thursday as planned if af doesn’t get me!

Thanks hun I'm ok just been really busy and when we haven't been doing anything I've been doing alot of knitting.
