January 2019 testing

Hi girls, I need your advice... I started temping this month for the first time and I am a bit confused. I always thought I ovulated cd17/18 but today I woke up added my temps and it automatically set ovulation for cd10... on cd11 I remember feeling extremely tired with headache and nausea and then today (cd13) i have ovulation cramps.. Now I am worried cause I didn't bd on cd10 Could it still change and could the cramps be before ovulation? what are your experiences? (chart attached)

Also zeni i remember reading somewhere to bd on O is too late anyway (most the time) as sperm has to decapitate etc before being able to do any fertilising . I personally now aim for -2 and -1 prior to O, i also find personally my cm changes from fertile to not fertile on day O however this cycle was different it seems! But typically..!

Agree with you char ie cp.. i remember once i sed to dh what if i am miscarrying every month like egg dont implant and my bodys rejecting it everytime and i just remember way he said "dont say that"

I cant tell dh when O as he gets performance issues (lol) if i do.

Agreed - Men pretend they dont have emotions and feelings but i know it would absolutely kill my OH if he knew i went through a CP and probably even more so the fact that i didn't share it with him. x

Agreed - Men pretend they dont have emotions and feelings but i know it would absolutely kill my OH if he knew i went through a CP and probably even more so the fact that i didn't share it with him. x

Its enough females going through it mentally and physically, theres just not much point (no nicer way for me to say that) sharing it with your oh as well as they will only feel emotionally flat as well x

Im another one that doesn’t really share it all with OH. I prefer to slope off and do pregnancy tests alone (that sounds so weird) but then just tell him if anything comes of it. We’ve had so many disappointments when it comes to pregnancy that I don’t see the point in dragging him into it all. Even when we get a BFP we don’t celebrate at all, it’s an anxiety filled time for us both.

I agree with everyone on here. Plus id like to think when it happens i wanna tell him in a epic, unforgetable way as it will be my only child! As we only have a 2 bed house for a start haha..
My auntie and uncle nearly fell out over ttc , you only find these things out when older, have a feeling it was a case of he wanted one she didnt but in the end they did and i remember him saying it was xmas and she put something under a tree saying something along lines of this is a present that didnt cost a lot but youll remember forever

And you are right about bd before ovulation so the spermies already are waiting for the egg there.. but the fact i dtd AM day before instead of PM is worrying me

Not sure how true this is Zeni but supposedly AM is more effective!!
Yes AF pains have completely vanished now thank god. They were so painful on Saturday! I have ordered my self some clear blue OPK's this cycle as i didn't get a peak last cycle and it just added to my stress x

Do you think those pains are related to the CP i know its the next cycle after you already had a bleed, but i didnt notice you say how painful your last one was? I remember one cycle for me was HORRENDOUS!!! ended up on the sofa in agony during the night, which is why i think i might have once had a cp, but was just none the wiser to it xx

I honestly do not know IVW. i use to struggle with really bad AF pains before i went on the pill at 17 years old. That was the main reason i went on the pill to help with the pain. Ever since coming off the pill in April/May i haven't had 1 painful AF apart from this one. I had really bad pains in the tops of my legs, my stomach and my lower back. I also had a very weird pain that i felt my insides were being pulled out of me. It was horrific!! i had a hot water bottle by my side all day/evening. It only lasted on the Saturday and then no pain since! Very bizarre don't you think? And considering i had a very long cycle there must have been something going on in there?? xx

I have heard AM has higher sperm count and do find if we bd am instead of pm seems to be more there but thats not always the case...
In this cycle i personally wanted to see new years in trying.. so sad right! haha so it was a midnight ish try! and tmi he produced a lot but was 2-3 day abstitance. i think it depends on your OH i roughly know now that 2 days in a row is about max my hubby can do, this month i found -1 was a lot 0 was medium +1 which was a injected try was 1mm so basically nothing and the random one at +2 was probably nothing as well as didnt notice anything there..

i think eventually you will learn roughly when you ovulate, i went from Ovulating cd:19/20 to now 16/17 but thats i think with weightloss and the supplement myo-iniositol i have taken now for 3 months

I thought I knew down to a tee when I ovulated (CD14) and then this month it threw a spanner in the works and I ovulated on CD20... TTC definitely tests us.

I tell my hubby everything too but some things with TTC I’ve kept to myself. I think he would feel the pressure too much if I told him my OPKs and he would DEFINITELY think I’m a crazy lady with how many times I do pregnancy tests haha. On that front, didn’t do one today as I couldn’t face another BFN. AF was due last Friday but because I only ovulated late, I’m expecting it on Wednesday this week...

I see my SIL yesterday that is weeks away from giving birth (so excited to meet my new nephew!!)
She struggled with conceiving and it took her about 13 months in the end, she swears that reflexology was the reason she conceived. She went for 1 session on the Thursday and on Sunday she is adamant that is the day she conceived.
I have contacted the lady she went to for this and am going to try out a session and see how i get on.
Would be great to hear any other stories? xx

I think it all must be connected, weird cycle and bad pains - has to be your body reacting to something and dealing with it how it can. Lets hope it all goes back to normal and you can start to keep track like you did before and get that sperm meeting the egg FX x

I have heard about it being good for you and others who have had success stories but I don’t understand how it can help the swimmers physically get there and implant any better haha. I’d love to know more though so if anyone else has any stories to share or explanations / words of wisdom then please let us know x

God its so hard to really confirm whether this stuff really does work - of course its lovely to believe it is down to doing something different, but really....you just never know if it was just your month.

There is definately no harm in doing it and if the financial cost of it doesn't effect you, i would go for it - nothing to lose and everything to gain

Hi char, just thread hopping and saw your post. I tried reflexology for fertility this time last year. A couple of my friends swear by it so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m not sure if it helped but I did find it really relaxing and the reflexologist, who was also a trainee midwife, was so supportive it was a good place to rant to someone who understood. I’d definitely recommend it xx

@IVW - TBH i am the same but after my SIL's story and have just been reading some success stories on other forums it seems to be very good for fertility. I think i am going to give it a go most definitely.
