January 2017 mummies! **2nd Trimester.**

Ah I have boob ones from a quick fluctuation of weight a few years ago... Annoyingly though there is one going right through a tattoo of mine!! Looks awful -.- haha.

My Oh was lovely last night, I walked into the bedroom to go to bed in just my pants (way too hot for pajamas) and he was stroking and taking to my bump. He then had a look on my sides and tummy and said 'don't worry, only those two little ones so far, nothing to worry about' and then went on to say ' I don't mind if you get covered in then as you've got my squiggle in there and they are a sign you are giving him as much room as you can to make him big & strong' .

Emotional me then had a bit of a cry. He's too lovely sometimes... Then other times I want to throw him out of a window �� !!

I'm on a one way ticket to stretch marks. This morning I woke up with MAJOR cravings for chocolate cornflake and skips. So I've just demolished 3 packets of skips and 3 chocolate cornflake bites. Why can't the little buggers make me crave fruit??

Laura I love skips at the moment! Well I love them all the time ha ha but I love them now too! Fruits been giving me indegestion I'm loving veg but can't think of how to make it fun ! Lol my FIL usually does & I'm waiting for them to get back from hols to make for us as we are living with them at the mo ha ha in the meantime carbs seem to be the thing Ek! X

It's almost scan day Holding Thumbs!! I am so excited, this week has dragged.. Lol at the post pilates chips! I'm in at 1.. let me know how it goes, hope everything is perfect with baby xx

I did not avoid stretch marks last time, hoping my body just re-uses the ones it already has?! All mine are down my sides/bum/thighs though none on the front of my stomach.. And loads on my boobs - that was a shock! Hate oiling/moisturising with a passion but try and do the bare minimum on my bump.. Must make an effort to drink more, might help these headaches too.. Hope we're all good girlies!

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies - I am afraid to confess that I am a traitor to team yellow - we will be finding out tomorrow (providing baby behaves.) I'd have loved to have had the surprise but my partner decided that he really wanted to know and as I get to carry the baby I compromised on this one.. Poppy will be with us due to lack of childcare so actually I'm hoping it'll be a really lovely experience having her there when we find out

Yay!! Hehe I do love a gender reveal. Managed to convince my brother and SIL to get a private scan, after their modest baby experience, woohoo!

How sweet of your OH Abi! Mine gives my bump 2 kisses every morning and says "bye boys!"
Skips are yum, we often get the Asda own sharing bag! They are shaped like flowers Papermoon! Probably can't get them in the US though.

Had a proper kick at last yesterday! I was in the garden with a book propped on my tummy when suddenly the book jumped! It was twin one, the one on the bottom bunk!
Slept better last night too, had one cushion under the bottom sheet so it didn't fall out and a beanbag hot water bottle (not heated!) on the other side so I had something on each side to support the bump! Much better!

Good luck for the morning holding thumbs. Everything will be fine in sure, anxiety is very natural for us humans when we care about something beyond our control

My friend got me really worried today as I told her I hadn't felt baby for a couple of days and she made me go to MLU. I felt so silly when they found his heartbeat and his was kicking like mad - I just couldn't feel it. She made me out to be irresponsible for not worrying too much, but as in so early on I didn't think I needed to as I can feel he is really low and deep at the minute il admit, I thought having close friends who had recently experienced all this would be nice, but they are making me feel pretty useless.

Oh and I'm now seriously cravin skips.... Thanks girls :') lolxxxxxxx

I'll be holding out as long as I can. I really don't want to know. But still worried with all the extra scans I might accidentally see something.

I went to the doctor today because my sickness has been getting worse. Been off work since Tuesday lunch. Switched medication and then they checked my blood pressure again. Driving me nuts. I know I'm fat but I'm not showing a single sign of pre-eclampsia, plus it doesn't manifest until third trimester.
They also took samples for UTI, anyone ever heard of that causing vomiting?
And then I got sent off for blood tests for thyroid and kidneys too. I'm glad they're investigating all possibilities, but yikes I'm tired of sitting around in a waiting room.

Blueflower, that's so sweet!
My bf doesn't do super sweet, but he does like to stroke the bump and ask how the babies are doing at least once a day. He also tried talking a little to them last night, but I think he, just like myself, don't really know what to say.
