IUI booked!!

Your right Louise I'm now 16 dpiui (ov) but still getting BFN & no AF. I don't know what to think, did the trigger shot not work & therefore IUI was too early or will I get a BFP in a few days! I hate the waiting, still feel like the witch is coming but not had anymore spotting or anything! Does anyone know if the ov trigger shot is guaranteed to work?

I've just had a quick read around the net Buggy and there are several instances where women believe the trigger shot did not work - one lady was having her progesterone levels measured and it didn't rise like it should after ovualtion and the other lady went for a scan after her BFN and noticed the same number of follicles on her ovaries as there were before the trigger shot - but it seems like all the doctors deny that it might not have worked.

The doctors seem to think that if it didn't work it is because the patient didn't do the trigger shot correctly and not that the science is wrong.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you Buggy xx

It didn't work, AF arrived painfully yesterday
Defo have to ask about the trigger shot as I don't reckon it worked Louise!
Got a cycle break now, then we'll try again hopefully we can do a double iui to give us a better shot! Good luck to anyone still waiting to test this month x

Aw i'm really sorry for you Buggy... it's a nightmare to think of ladies going through a whole invasive clinical proceedure and for them to get nothing out of it

What makes you think that it didn't work Buggy? You sound pretty sure.
