Hiya girls this will be my thread untill after my 1st IUI treatment.
Treatment begins on my nexy cycle, number 28, which will be due around 7th March
Ill be having medicated IUI so will be having daily Manopur injections, then an injection of Profasi to make my eggs mature, AND pressaries up my bottom just incase i don't create a cyct sac that has the necessary hormones in for pregnancy, and if i get pregnant i will have to do this for 12 weeks
I asked about additional supplements, and they have said i just need to religiously take folic acid, and a multi vitamin won't hurt. And also steer clear of OPK's.
I had to sign my life away, and so did OH. And we had to sign a form because we wernt married. They asked us about child welfare etc, and i couldnt help thinking....we just drove past a chav pushing a buggy, smoking a fag....bet you didnt ask them! Pfffft! Ha ha!
I will be asked to do a pregnancy test 2 weeks after IUI which will be my birthday

I am also away on a canal boat for the 2nd week of my 2ww, so ive been told i am not allowed to do locks, so im just gonna drive and dictate ha ha!
I asked about waiting lists etc, and the nurse said the main specialist nurse has bypassed the waiting list for me, i must have been nice to her. Otherwise its an 18 week wait minimum. Also if we have to have IVF i can start straight away, no wait for that either.
So excited and feeling so positive now xxxx
