How are all you new mummies doing?

She's had her quite a few tones as I've been back at work 7 weeks she was whingy yesterday because she's teething but the prob is my mum doesn't do much with her I'm always out with her I hate sitting in and mum just stays in playing I hope she's changed her mind today as the prob I have my shifts change each week so I can't even put her in nursery or have a child minder I get my shifts on Friday to start Sunday it's rubbish! How are our poorly babies today? Xxxxx

Kerry, glad hayleys ok, how scary though!! Well jealous of your bargain. I've been desperate for one of those but not paying full price.

Toria, I really hope you get some let up soon. Not really a relaxing break when you have to take your child to hospital!!

Nat- I bought baby ibuprofen for thomas yesterday which seemed to help as you can dose inbetween calpol (paracetamol). Perhaps give your mum and zip close bag of teething stuff with some instructions to help her manage when the teethings bad?? Should hopefully reduce all the whinging?

Hi ladies, home now. Thank goodness! Maddie all back to normal. Such a shame, as the place and area was so nice and we spent so much time keeping her out of the house. Easier night last night as some people left so we put Emma in her own room and we had Maddie in with us. Put her right under the window and left it open, so a bit cold. But a lot of fresh air circulating.

I was up at 5 with Emma too. Not teething though, just the old wake up time :-/

Really feel for those teething babies. Emma still has a mouth full of gums so I'm dreading her getting them in quick succession!

Nat, might be worth giving your mum some ideas of places to take Macie when she's like that? I can't stay in with Emma much either. She drives me round the bend.lol

Luke has been so bad with his teeth tonight. He's moaned and cried since I got home more or less... Manages to get some paracetamol into gum about half an hour ago so he's a little better and got some food down him. I'm honing to take him up for a bath about 5:45 and see or he'll go down at 6:30 instead if 7pm

Just trying to catch up

Glad maddie is ok now Toria!! Poor thing and poor emmas head! :(

Kerry- same goes for Hayley!!

Just read Jens post about Scarlett aswell so looks like lots of poorly little ladies!!

Jojo- I'm with you on the teething - Oscar under weather and we are struggling but that's another storey

Nealry finished moving - had today and got tomorrow off work- then cleaning the weekend. Am very tired !!

Can't wait for it to all be done so I can just relax abit and spend quality time with hubby and Oscar! MIL has been a life saver the weekend and upto now aswell so got flowers on order :)

i feel like i have an overloaded week... ive gone from not going to work to not having a day to chill all week!

im at work mon, tue, wed, thur then swimming on friday, then im going shopping for a stroller for my mum to sue when shes babysitting on sundays im working, then back to work on sunday and monday... im off on tuesday, then back in wed, thur, swimming and shopping friday and maybe a day to opurselves on saturday before work again on sunday. youi wouldnt think i was part time!

luke has bumps on his top gums and also suddenly into his 9-12 month clothes... i also went up just now because luke was screaming due to fireworks (i swear someone is going to get strangled if they dont quit with the fireworks!!) and he was standing up in his cot so the cot is getting lowered tomorrow.

Mum already has all the teething stuff n I leave her the pushchair n stuff but she can't drive n can't walk that far it's a bit of a rubbish situation she seemed ok today so fingers crossed she just said it in heat of the moment! I've re applied for part time back at Barclays today so that will be set hours if I manage to get back a manager text n told me to so fingers crossed then I can look into a child minder or something.
I feel so sad for Jen and Scarlett my thoughts are with them can't imagine what she must be going through :-(
I no how u feel jo there isn't enough hours in the day work spoils everything I wish I could stay at home! Xxxx

i wish i had a job that started at 9 lol the 8am start is horrid especially as i walk to work. i leave in 25 minutes and i still need to do my makeup and my hair and put my top on (not putting it on beforfe my makeup lol - thats a mistake) but a cuppa tea is a must first! i cant survuve without my tea!

what annoysme about work is that my boss didn't even say hi! he didn't ask f=how it was feeling being back or how the baby was or anything! just barked, as per usual!

theres so many pictures of babies circulating at work! one of my coleagues has had 2 grandkids while ive been off on leave and another had had a grandchild too! ion fact one of them is 13 days younger than luke.

i feel so sad for jen and scarlet too, it sounds so horrible and scary for her... i dont know how i would cope in that situation. hopefully they can sort it out and she will be out soon.

Toria, it's on another thread in baby and toddler. Scarlett seems to have had some form of seizure so she was taken to hospital where is happened again. They think she has some form of infection but they are doing an mri and lumber puncture under anaesthetic to double check its not something else

Jen & Scarlett's on a separate thread. Scarlett's been having seizures & is having an mri under general anaesthetic & had to have a lumber puncture. Can't remember exactly what she said without looking

Poor S, hopefully shed makes a very quick recovery back to her usual self.

Hayley had a great sleep. 6:15pm until 8am! Even now she lying in her cot talking away so im still in my bed too!

I had a full uninterrupted sleep last night too. I feel so much better for it

Hi ladies thanks for you well wishes. Just sitting catching up while S is sleeping. This fasting is hard going the poor wee thing is starving! She's going for her MRI and lumber puncture at 1230. She had another seizure last night so it's not been good. We will know a lot more by tea time probably so will keep you all updated. Thanks again x

Aw Jen, you've been on my mind all morning. Once they've done the lumbar puncture they should be pretty quick getting back to you. My eldest had one about 4 hours after he was born. Not nice for them, but it's the quickest way to get them better quicker. Xx
