How are all you new mummies doing?

Work is dull and boring. I miss my boy and my slippers lol

Ha. I love my slippers too after my kit day. Took 2 days for my legs not to ache

Do your feet not get sweaty in slippers? Mine do

I just wear little ballerina pump/sock type things - otherwise my feet sweat and I end up
With slippers that stink hahah

No I have really cold feet anyway & it's a big metal shed with a heating system that regularly breaks. I just switch to my shoes when I have to leave my desk for visitors

I can't wear them at work either. Always in the public eye! I buy slippers that I can wash. Eliminates stinky feet/slippers

I just found out that everyone withr kids is off Christmas Day. Hurrah!

I'm home! I got a huge smile when I got in and hubby said he's been moaning all day but he's as happy as larry for me!

Hahaha Bex I'm the same I can't wear them.. I don't really like them though anyway, I'm usually just barefoot :|

I had an bit of a dramatic evening! Hayley had her dinner then I lay her down to change her dirty bum. She started to cry and then couldn't breathe. Would cry out and couldnt breathe in, it lasted a good few minutes, she went bright red then her lips turned blue! I called an ambulance but by time they arrived so had started to breathe again but had gone as white as a ghost! Ended up going by ambulance to yorkhill childrens hospital and they said it was a reflex seizure thing - don't remember to full technical name, but its' not actually a seizure. Sometimes babies just forget to breathe so she's absolutely fine now and fast asleep in bed. Thank goodness, I was petrified but had to stay calm otherwise hayley would probably then get even more stressed out.

Yay to Xmas day off Jojo.

Kerry, glad Hayley is ok. I've had. Traumatic few days too.we are On a long weekend away and Maddie is allergic to something in this house. She ended up in hospital in the middle of the night too as she couldn't breathe. They put her on a nebuliser for 30 mins, she was home by 3 all better, then by 5 she was up again having difficulty breathing. We got an inhaler and tube think for her to breathe it in through so feel a bit better about tonight. Although I've got her in with me so I can keep an eye on her.

Then this morning I left Emma with all 3 older kids and their cousin for 30 seconds while I put her bottle in the kitchen, they all thought the other was watching her, she banger her head on the sliding door track thing going through to the conservatory. I ran back when I heard her scream and got her up thinking she had fallen back on it as that's how I found her. By the time I got her to the kitchen she had blood gushing out of her forehead and a red mark from front to back of her head! Poor thing. The cousin had put her down on her knees and let go before she had her balance and she just toppled forward. I won't be leaving her again!

Had an awful day Macie been up since 5.30 and been crying most of the day with her teeth she won't even let me touch her bottom gum n her bum is so sore poor little one I had to go to work n leave her with my mum then when I got back my mum said she doesn't think she can have her anymore because she's too much of a handful n too whingy I feel awful about it :-(xxxxx

Thats' good you got christmas day off jojo!

Oh dear Toria! Hopefully Maddie has a better night and poor emma! :(

Sorry to hear that Nat! What are you going to do if your mum won't watch her? Hayley has 2 bottom teeth just cut through her gums yesterday so I've been using plenty of calpol, teething granules and cold teethers to help her. Hopefully Macies tooth sprouts out soon so she isn't in as much pain or discomfort!

I bought a fisher price bounce n spin zebra this morning for 6.99 from my local charity shop :D Bargain :)

She said that after one day? She was obviously teething and having a bad time of it, can she not give it another go?

How scary! Sounds very similar to what my son used to do. Daniel used to cry so much that he would just let a massive cry out and then wouldn't breathe in, would go really red. I remember someone telling me to blow on his face as soon as he started doing it so he would be forced to take a breath. We never got him checked out so I have no idea if it's the same thing, but definitely worth a go if she does it again xx

What a scary night for you both! & I just said I'd had a bad night...nothing in comparison! Hope Hayley & Maddie are both fine
