How are all you new mummies doing?

I like work but don't particularly wanna go before mat leave is over but part of the day is doubted as a full day so full pay! I'm gonna take advantage of a couple before my leave kicks in next month to plump up my november wage

I love my job but my boss is a nasty piece if work and a bully and we can't stand to be in the same room as eachother so the least amount of time I spend with him the better.

I'm going to look for jobs on December

You can get paid over and above SMP. My old work topped up to 100% pay for 6 months, then think it was 60% till 9 months.

I have fond memories of my labour! Once i got to hospital and had gas and air I was sorted! Laboured and give birth in the bath.. At one point Chris was dipping Maryland cookies in his tea for me! I was sooo hungry throughout
I've got it all on video!!! Well from kist after I started pushing, I've only watched it 3 times.. Only then do I think ouch!!! Then it comes flooding back :| makes me emotional seeing him been placed on my chest and you hear Chris in the background saying ITS A BOY! Haha awww

On another note..
Has anoyone started using size 3 teats yet? Considering changing as stanleys getting bored drinking his bottle now think they're from 6+ months.

We're having issues with getting stair gates sorted. Found we could get converting brackets to turn the baby den in to a room divider. But they didn't fit as the baby den is like 8 years old. Then decided we could get 2 stair gates for the stairs and another walk way that goes down a few steps to the guest room and toilet.but can't do that either as we have a window at the bottom of the stairs so nothing to attach the gate too.

Need to get sorted ASAP as just caught Emma following Maddie up the stairs! I got to her one step up. She turned when she heard me lunge for her and fell backwards.

Oscars on size 4! Lol

Try him stace? Maybe buy 1 pack first :)

Gutted about the stair gates ! Hope you get it sorted Toria

Haha bloody hell size 4!!
Think give them a whirl.. He's been on size 2 since 11 weeks and is pretty good using a sippy cup, he's probs wondering why I'm giving him such a hard time getting his milk! ;)

Austin was on size 3 for ages using comfort milk. We've put him on stage 2 now & still using size 3. Sometimes he's brill with it but when he's hungry he guzzles & sometimes takes to much without swallowing so we end up milk all over his chin!

We're on size 4 too.

Just doing the kit days because things changes so quickly and I don't want my head to hurt for weeks with trying to catch up, plus be exhausted from being back at work.

We're on size 4, but Luke is drinking his water from a beaker (controlled by me lol) because he refuses to drink water out of a bottle or sippy cup lol

Thomas uses a sippy cup for water which is free flow. I have to watch him though cause he likes sipping it and then spitting it out :wall2:

Just seen that pic on FB of him - so cute
And I like your exposed brickwork LOL

Urgh can't sleep. Too many thoughts going through my head, and just had the sinking realisation that Hayleys first birthday is on a Saturday - so if access arrangements stay the same she'll be away with her dad so I'll hardly see her on her very first birthday. I know I shouldn't worry about it just now as it's still a while away but..I cant help myself :wall2:

In other news,Hayley is sound asleep on her tummy lying horizontally at the very bottom of her cot. Finally a good bit of tummy time :good:

Hope all babies & mummies sleep well

Kerry, try not to worry about the access. Hope you managed to sleep

Thomas slept on his tummy last night too. Played on my mind abit so when he vaguely woke up I turned him into his front.

I have no idea what goes on with his room temp. Last few days it's been 19, done nothing differently and its 16 at the moment!! Luckily I civered him with an extra blanket when I went up to turn him over.

Hayley woke at 9.30 and her eye is swollen. Called a taxi to go to Drs as it otas no better after a bottle. Currently sitting in waiting room since 25 past 10. Hopefully its nothing

Kerry, hopefully he will be reasonable with regards to special occasions that fall on his days. With my step daughter we always swapped if her birthday was with us. Wasn't fair to take her away on those days. As she got older and things were more amicable, we used to go to her birthday parties.

Hope her eye is ok. Allergies?

I'd suggest having a party that day. Everyone should put their differences aside for a first birthday if they can.

I hope her eye is ok. Maybe something got into it and irritated it a bit.

Luke has taken a liking to my elephant ornaments on the fire place hearth, oh dear

Waited almost 2 hours to be seen by doctor. She's got an eye infection so she's got eye drops to get every 2 hours.
