How are all you new mummies doing?

Well our thermostat comes on if it drops below 17 during the day- then when we get home depending on weather we will pop it up a few degrees to around 19-20

ATM it's on 20 :)

Had oscars nursery invoice today! That quickly turned my day upside down :(

I'm so glad we kept going with the childcare vouchers after Maddie started school. Emma's only at nursery 1 day a week and it's costing £245 a month!

Aw that bad Bex?! :-( I'm sooo not looking forward to that!

Question for you... Just went to put S in a gro bag that I got as a pressie when she was born. It's 6-18 months so quite long. Her body literally only fitted half tho, do you think it's still safe to use. Doesn't look like her head can get through the hole at the top so it's ok at that end x

God that's crazy Bex!! I looked at it at first at thought £800 for 2 months isn't too bad... Then I noticed you had paid a deposit!!

MIL paid deposit to secure his place / but yeah! Scary isn't it :/

As long as head won't slip down then it's fine :) Austin's is quite big on him but his 0-6mth are waaaay too small & he rolls about too much for a blanket

That's more than my rent! This is why my kids will never be in nursery if I can avoid it. It's reduculous prices.

Also Luke is a pound shirt if the weight for his bag but I put him on it the other night and he's fine

Wow! £51?! Ours is £36. It's council run & had an outstanding ofsted report :) 5min drive from work too...close enough if I need to go, not so close that I'll be tempted to visit in first week

Jojo it's more than our mortgage !! but it's still not even half of my wages

I can't avoid it - I'd love for Oscar to be at home all day- but some things are a must

Ours is £51 too :-( we get 10% discount tho cos oh is in the police and also we only pay for what she is actually there for because of his shifts. If we need to cancel a day, say one of us is off work, we don't need to pay either and can transfer the day! Sometimes it pays to be a shift worker. I think it'll be good for her tho - well fingers crossed!

Have you guys seen 'see pretty baby' on fb? My friend just had a cosy toes made by her and it's amazing! Got campervans on it Stacey! I loooove this one ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412626842.533621.jpg

Aww that's class Jen! Love it :D I actually have some Lino type stuff on a roll witn that print on it! Just need to do something with it! I just have the cosy toes that goes with my pushchair at the minute x

51!!!!!! That's mad! I think ours is 37 for 8-6 not that he will be there that long, we only pay half if we cancel a day which is good!

My friend is making me a custom cosy toes type thing for a stroller I got, it's silver cross but just a black and cream one, bit boring but it was secondhand and cheap so I couldn't turn it down! I'm so excited for her to finish it! X

Ours is £55 per day. Its on my way to the kids school though, and I know most the people there as my older two went there. What annoys me though is even though Emma only goes 1 day a week. If a holiday falls on that day. We still pay.

Thanks Bex! Typed up a version exactly based on that diary to apply to hayley just now with some examples . So ill suggest that to him whilst in mediation.

Hayley uses her 2.5 tog sleeping bag with a long sleeved vest or sleepsuit and she always seems fine. I'm going to see if she's big enough for her 6 - 12 month bag as she's almost outgrown her 0-6 month one. My parents house is always very warm - my dads ill so feels the cold so the heating is on alot during the day if it drops. But the way their living room is, if its sunny it becomes like a green house through the windows!

Wow, nursery is expensive! Thats rubbish that you need to pay for holidays Toria! You'd think they'd be more accomodating for even just 1 day a week, especially as your other 2 went there! Not looking forward to finding out how much it'll cost me for hayley when the time comes heh.

Hayley had banana porridge today which she loved, and gave her some toast too. She had a good chew dbut didn't really eat any then got grumpy as she was full from her bottle earlier and also getting tired - teething badly today too. We then had a great day with Hayley went to the riverside museum with my mum & dad .

Aww bless Hayley, glad she liked the porridge.

We've looked round nurserys, got two to decide from. Ones £46 the others £50. He's only doing 1 day a week and that's so he can socialise. With childcare vouchers it'll be good as the tax saving will significantly reduce the price.

Put a cellular over thomas now as its 17 in his room and he semi work up. Not sure about the ones with sleeves. Think I'd like some parts of him to be more out in the open so he can regulate his temp better?

Problem with our house is that the thermostat for the bedrooms is in our room and it's always very warm so the other rooms don't get heated as much

Yikes I don't feel so bad now I know mine is 40 and that's pretty reasonable lol
