How are all you new mummies doing?

Did he bring her clothes back yet Kerry?

He did give me her top back on Wednesday but it was so wrinkly, it's obvious he's just scrunched it in a ball! And he put her trousers on when dropping her off this morning so, he still has a vest and a pair of socks.

Here you go - obviously some things don't apply but this gets filled out every day and I have a bit at bottom for messages or what not :)

Brrr it is cold this evening! Usually it's 22-23 degrees in our room but tonight it's 18! We put Isabelle in a vest as well as sleepsuit. Hope she's going to be warm enough.

We do these at work. They're a great source of info but a pain in the arse to fill in lol

At 18 degrees Oscar is in long sleeved vest, sleepsuit and a 2.5tog sleeping bag!

Nat - basic recipe

Tiny bit of butter, fry mince and onion off, drain any fats, add half pint of water ( with some veg stock if you want ) and add some gravy granuals ( low salt bisto is ideal ) - handful of peas and carrot or sweetcorn , simmer to thicken for 5 and then zap it down? Sometimes need abit more water/gravy so make up a cup full and stir in what you need

Always pop some cheese in the mash potato as it's good for them to have those fats

His book is cute isn't it lol!

For anyone who has the AK book

Oscar LOVED the beef casserole and chicken hot pot recipes! Trying him on the lamb and sweet potato tomorrow

Also made a batch of cheese sauce, simmered some chicken in whole milk, then added mushrooms and sweetcorn and the cheese sauce so he's got creamy cheesey chicken with mushrooms and sweetcorn

Starting to get the hang of this food thing! Lol

It's 18 in thomas room too. He's in the same as Oscar.

He's only managed 11oz of milk, some porridge a tiny bit of cheesy pasta and banana rice pudding plus quite abit of water for the whole of today. Seems to be weeing ok and his dirty nappies are getting back to normal although they look like when he was just on milk.

He's gone to sleep ok so hoping we all have a good nights sleep. I'm in the spare room giving hubby some space as he's got it now. Really wish he hadn't as he's type1 diabetic and anything that stops him eating regularly is a real cause of
Concern.

Oh well fingers crossed tomorrow is a better day

This one

A lot of the things I cook are from this book or inspired from :) really easy

I hope your all well again soon Kathryn! I'm sure Thomas will pick up his eating and drinking again and hope it's not too hard on hubby with his diabetes x

Yet another sleepless night. Left her to cry quite a bit and she did eventually settle, but that meant a whole house wide awake even more. Her room is normally 21, but I swear the monitor is lying. I went in at my bedtime and it was nice and warm. Then at about 2 I went in and it was quite chilly but still said 21. I'm wondering if she's waking cause she's cold. When Chris got up for work at 6, I brought Emma in to our bed, put the duvet over her in her sleeping bag. And she slept till 7:30.

Hope everyone feels better today Kathryn. Emma was off her food and milk for a out 2 days when she had it.

Toria I had this! I got a second temp gage

The monitor and grow egg have a 2 degree difference!! I can't figure out which is right or wrong!

Oscar loves sleeping under our duvet with his bag on! He sometimes wakes as he's cold too I think ! I've got a big fleecey blanket I'll put over him now when I go to bed and it seems to be doing the trick

Macie now has the dreaded cold :-( bless her she's not stopped whinging this morning it's awful weather here too n for to catch the bus to my mums as I'm at work at 2 shoukd be a fun day not! Xxx

Think I'll do the same re the temp. My monitor only ever says 19 or 21 and when it was really hot it went up to 24 I think and that's all I've ever seen. she currently sleeps on her knees with her face straight down on the mattress with her forehead supporting her. Weird baby. Probably another reason she keeps waking up. Might try a blanket too, might keep her from getting in to that position.

Awwww poor Macie. Remember to get all the stuff to helps through the night. Vapour rub for chest and throat, nasal spray to clear snot. Don't use too much though as it's salty. and calpol plug in vapour thing.

Aw poor macie, I guess we better get used to poorly babies in the winter :-( another sleepless night for us here, I can't believe this is just happening before I go back to work. Room went down to 18 and she was in a long sleeve vest, suit and 2.5 bag. Do you think they will be ok with a blanket over them? I'm worried about it over her face but her hands were freezing! x x

Got a calpol plug in thing I've just been to fetch some more refills n been to get some baby ibuprofen as my friend told me her lo was better with that than calpol spent a fortune in boots she's flat out snoozing bless her I feel a bit rubbish too xxxxx
