How are all you new mummies doing?

Just don't say you made a mistake, just say the confirmation has come through showing Scarlett as Mr and they need to correct it.

What Toria said

If they turn around and say you must have Input it wrong tell then you didn't and proove you wrong! :) they can't proove you did it wrong :)

Phoned them this morning and they are sending me a new ticket for S, mine is fine they said cos it's still female so fingers crossed! What a stress. We are on 2 weeks straight of waking up in the night for a bottle - nothing is working. With 4 weeks to go til I'm back at work I have to try and get her out of it x

Have you tried giving her water instead Of a bottle?

Hayley kept waking up late night but she wasn't wanting a bottle, just making noises or chucking her dummy on the floor! Exhausted now! Off to the dentist in an hour, then a trip to Tesco to pick up her 6-9 month clothes!

I feel for you Jen, I hope she grows out of it quickly.

I has to change Thomas' nappy at 6am which is unheard of these days. We got up at 8.15 and he'd done an horrendous stinky poo, gave him his porridge and by 9.30 he'd done another ridiculously stinky poo again!!
Fruit is definitely helping his poo's be the right consistency they are just unbelievably smelly

I call Luke's poo "human poo" lol rather than baby poo

Jen

Don't try to hard - I tried hard to get Oscar through the night

He didn't for first week - but hasn't slept trough for nearly 2 weeks now after illness / cold etc - guarentee even if you do get her sleeping through it won't be for long!

Oscar was up at 1.30 and 3.30 - then awake at 6

It's crap and I'm exhausted I won't lie ! :(

What's her food and bottle routine ATM

Did you try water like I suggested? How much water is she drinking with her meals etc?

Jen this is what I'm afraid of! Austin's yet to start sleeping through & I'm not at work until jan. Im shattered most days now so dunno how I'll feel if this is still happening in jan! Everyone keeps telling me I should nap but I'm trying to get out of the habit coz I can't nap at work!

My sister had her 12wk scan today so it's official; I'm gonna be an auntie again! She's 12wks exactly & her due date is 14th April. Baby could potentially arrive on hers or my bday!

Aw congrats to your sister!! So exciting when it's a Neice or nephew too.

Yeah tried water, she won't drink much but offer it at every meal and she plays with it sometimes in between. She's regularly taking 3 small meals and still all her bottles (and an extra in the night!) We are only 2 weeks in and already she is eating half a wee hipp jar or 2 cubes of veg I prepare. Going to start her on more textures this week so hopefully that'll help and be more filling with her. I just feel exhausted all the time cos I'm awake for ages in the night after she has gone down, worrying about work and stuff! Im aware I'm turning into a proper moan haha x

Do you give her milk or water at night? Will she settle for water?

I wishy SIL would have a baby - I don't think I it'll be too long. Her and my bro just bought a house and he's promises a promotion last year, she has the wedding all planned all she needs is a proposal but my bro got scared by an awful ex who string him along then went off with someone else so he's a little paranoid that he's not good enough for his gf. Hopefully he's getting past it. I think once they're married they will start a family - she's only 22 so they have so
Much time (he's 32 and I keep telling him to have a baby before he's too old lol)

Oh god what id give to be 22 again! Don't know about you guys but sometimes feel a bit sad that all the major milestones are over... 30, married and first child are big things!

Not tried jojo, I'll maybe try tonight. I just kinda think if I'm up giving her water I'm aswell as giving her milk? Unless I'm not thinking/missing something! x

Jen, it might just be that she's gotten used to it. I'm still trying to get Emma to sleep through the night again, but all the sickness has changed her routine.

Oh I miss my 20's! I'm 37 in November, and my oh will be 45! He was young when we got together. How did this happen?!lol.

I think that's maybe what it is Toria, but just don't know how to break the cycle. Do I keep going and hope it's just like when she was younger and she eventually drops it herself?!

I know. It's too sad! :-(

I think it's all trial and error. And could even be down to each baby. My first slept through from 7 weeks, and now at almost 9 he will sleep through anything, go to bed when he's told. Loves his bed. Then Maddie was 3 before she slept through the night! Did the same with each of them, and yet their sleep patterns are so different. I'm dreading Emma being like Maddie was :-/ even now at 6, she cries when we tell her to go to sleep. Then wanders around the upstairs till she tires herself out about 9. Hope that didn't just scare you!

Oh god that would be a nightmare! I loooove my bed and always have so hoping S is the same. Think your right tho, they are all sooo different. She took her full 8oz bottle right before sleep and had a decent size tea so fingers crossed for tonight x

I was just thinking if you give her water she will realise she's not going to get milk and will just get water- if she's hungry she won't settle on just water.
