How are all you new mummies doing?

That's good to know Bex, are you gonna just keep giving him it as long as he's asking for it?

Luke is on three 7o bottles (8am,2:30pm,6-7pm) and a 4oz at 10:30 plus tree meals (when he'll have them - his teeth have been hurting recently)

I have a doidy cup and it's just literally a cup, no insert

I'd have to be brave to test austin with a doidy cup then. He's quite the snatched & loves topping his cup upside down lol!

Austin prefers food to bottles when his teeth hurt. Probably cause he likes to chomp on stuff/the spoon

I was wondering if Emma would ever drop a bottle. She kept reducing the amounts and playing with her bottle at times. One day I was out and she wasn't getting agitated when she normally would at 10:30, so I just skipped the bottle then pulled her lunch earlier to 11:30. She ate so much better too as she was hungry. For the next few days I just kept her busy when she would normally want her bottle. Now she's not bothered at all.

Picked up my next sale order today. So annoyed, the main item I wanted was a cream smocked top for Emma. I'd actually bought it before the sale. Then when I got it on sale I returned the full price one. Anyway, opened it up and it had what looks like printer ink all across the front! Rang them and it's sold out. They said I can return it, but would cost me more in fuel to return it.

I'm feeling abit useless. I've only just started Hayley with food. She can eat a bowl or baby rice or porridge no problem, but everything else she just makes a sour face. She's tried banana, apple, mango & apple, I made a broccoli puree with her normal milk. Every time she just makes the face and spits it all out. I've tried giving her the same stuff a few times over the last few days but just feel like she doesn't like it.

I'm trying to reduce her milk intake as her tummy will be too full to eat but she's still just wanting milk. Feel clueless!

Hayley has the dentist tomorrow, we've already been so have toothpaste with the correct fluoride. So think it'll be a waste of time, but it's only as we've just registered to the new dentist in my area.

What bath seats are you ladies using? After moving back with my parents my mum bought a foam insert for her baby bath but she's far too big for it now, and it's so hard to hold her and bath her and she's constantly splashing and trying to stand up

I was thinking of this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dreambaby-S...UTF8&qid=1412011208&sr=8-5&keywords=bath+seat

But not sure if it's any good or if theres anything better out there

Good to know too toria, maybe she will just drop them herself. She's fussing tonight over her 6 o clock one but this means I'll be up AGAIN tonight. Oh yeah... The carbs at tea thing isn't working to keep her asleep :wall:

Please don't worry too much kaedin, S was the same and now she's getting slightly better. Have you tried any jars? The hipp sweet squash and chicken was our first hit. So far we have her eating jars, potato, sweet potato and butternut squash, pouches of pear or apple (only sweet thing she will eat) and carrot crisps. She's picks at bread or a banana but doesn't actually eat much. Gonna try cooking some meals this week.

Yeah I was thinking soemthig like this too kaedin, she's still not too bad in bath support but this will be next stage x x

Iv got one of those im selling for £5 not sure how much postage would be to where u guys live but if u want it ur welcome, I never used it because Ryan started sitting up shortly after I got it, I liked that it opened up, made it easier to get him in and out xxImageUploadedByTapatalk1412013110.496034.jpg

Are they no good once they're sitting up?

Luke is at the very top of his Angelcare support and he keeps lifting his bum up and actually slipped into the water a few times so I need something else but I'm not sure what. I was thinking if something like that

Thought I'd posted by obv not.

Kerry we don't use a seat any more, just a rubbery bath mat from ikea which thomas sits on (it's a crocodile)

In tens of food Thomas pulled a face at most things to start with. Things like carrot and squash were good to start as they can be fairly sweet but have a smooth texture. I think the fruit can taste sharp to them even when it's not.

Hipp do simply squash and simply carrot if you want to try those

I'm in Scotland so postage would probably cost a fortune!

Hayleys not able to sit up completely unaided yet, she's still quite wobbly so im always near her to make sure she doesn't topple and hit her head!

the only jar ive tried so far was a cow & gate 4-6 month grandpas sunday lunch. It was chicken, peas, sweetcorn and carrots. I'm finding that since eating more than just milk her reflux is getting worse again. So thats also putting me off, i know i just nee to be persistent but im feeling like im doing everything wrong or not as well as it should be done!

I've got a similar seat to that Kerry. Although I find you can't wash properly from the waist down. Emma just sits in the bath now as I can't be bothered getting her in and out of that seat. She happily chases her toys around. Just got to be more careful about slipping over.

Ryan defo wouldn't entertain sitting in it now he can sit up! X

Broccoli is quite strong tasting. I mix it with carrot. We started with butternut squash, sweet potato and carrot as they're sweeter.

I couldn't just sit him in the bath- although he can sit on his own he gets distracted and topples over and I couldn't relax bathing him like that yet.

Have you guys seen my fb? Could actually cry. Booked flights to see my best friend in Amsterdam in a couple of weeks through skyscanner. Got my tickets emailed and mine says Ms and Scarlett's says Mr. I thought I hadn't filled it in properly but when I went back to it there was no box asking for title, just gender. I'm pretty sure I changed it to female for S too but can't prove it! Looks like they charge £55 per ticket for changes!! :-(
