How are all you new mummies doing?

No cause I stupidly thought I didn't have a cold. Might be going up town later if I can drag myself out so will get everything then.

I feel even worse now. Just got up, said to hubby about 30 mins ago that thomas was awake and his response was dont I get a lie in today. Er.. No , I know he's hurt his jaw and had to do a 6 day week this week but I feel like death and had to look after thomas all day yesterday feeling like crap

Oh dear! I'm getting used to no nappy changes during the night exept every so often you get woke by the stink!

I'm having issues with my baby monitor! I bought the BT 200 one and it keeps crashing so loses the connection but doesn't let you know by beeping or anything! Bit of a nightmare as it's been a few times If lifted it up to try and hear her to realise it's not bloody working! I've emailed BT so hoping something can be done. Don't want to have to send it back as it's going to cost me postage then im without a monitor urgh!

Emma usually poos once every 2-3 days, and usually about 10am. So this is a major change for me.lol. At least Chris let me sleep in till 8:30 this am. Although I probably would have kicked him in the shin if he'd got me up sooner. He seems to sleep through everything in the night.

If they say that Kerry re monitor. Ask them to send you a new one before you send the old one back. And to provide a pre paid envelope. They can't expect you to have no monitor for a week or buy a new one. My older kids cot got recalled when they were 3 yrs and 6 months. They just wanted the faulty drop side returned and they would replace with a side that didn't drop, and also £100 voucher for the inconvenience. Got home to find they had collected the faulty side and not left the replacement! Rang them and they said that the replacements were still in manufacture and wouldn't be available for a few weeks. How stupid is that! Anyway, they agreed to also pay for a travel cot which I quickly went out and bought, and also my expenses involved in getting it. So definitely worth asking.

well he has done it again! My ex has again shown he's a crummy dad to Hayley! I didn't give her a change of clothes for today as last week he didn't give her clothes back, so I can't be constantly giving clothes and not getting them back (especially as he isn't paying maintenance yet!!). He brought her home in yesterdays dirty clothes! Said to him why?! He said cos I didn't give him clothes, and he said he "forgot to pick up her clothes" from last weekend, so I asked where are they then, then the story changed to they are on the washing line. Doesn't take 1 week to wash 1 baby outfit. He told me to "quit greetin" and walked off. No idea how Hayley has been, how she slept, when she was last fed.

That's ridiculous that they done that! Surely someone in the office would have said thats stupid! I'll keep that in mind thanks Toria :D

Thomas has been pooping practically every nappy! I've tried to ive him more water and fruit and that seems have helped but is still at least 50% of nappy.

Kerry, he's an idiot

Toria oscars been poohing 2/3 times a day and it's runny - same for hubby and I! This cold we've had - has got some sort of tummy upset with it! Poor Emma! It's not nice!

I'm just writing a shopping list as am off to Asda to get more ingredients for batch cooking - oscars got 5 meals left

Going to do chicken hot pot, sweet potatoe and lamb casserole , beef stew and fish with vegetables on a cheesey sauce! All from AK !

Also going to do him some mini apple crumbles to have with custard for puddings and freeze some fruit down for him to have fruit purée with his full fat yoghurts :)

Kerry, sounds to me like he may have just left her with his mum or something and she's got her clothes. Make a note of this in your book.
Re the cot. I think because the cot was 3 years old they just assumed the child it was for would be using it as a cot bed. And not being used for a second baby.

Kathryn, has he got the big or do you think teething?

Bex, sounds like you have the stomach bug and cold all at once. We had a slight overlap of a few days and that was bad enough. Good thing is that Emma is still eating well.

Isn't it funny how we live all over the country, but our babies get the same sick at similar times.

I might do some cooking today too.

Austin went through the poop frequently thing when his first 2 teeth were cutting. Doesn't seem to be happening this time tho

I would go if my lazy shit of a husband got out of bed and stopping playing the ill card! We all Arnt the best and had a rough week ugh! Annoying !

These bugs get around fast don't they!

He's been doing it for weeks and its been quite solid. Now got it back to a better normal consistency so I think he hit likes emptying his bowels at every opportunity :(

Don't think its teething or a bug

So many people are poorly go away germs! Hope everyone feels better soon and have had a nice weekend xxxx

Hi ladies hope you have all had a good weekend but sounds like there's loads of poorly babies and mums! :-( feel better soon.

Had a great weekend and Scarlett has just loved the attention from everyone and been in the pool a lot. I've learned that she eats waaay better with people around and having some noise and distraction, I automatically turn the tv toys etc off but just shows you....

Sleeping however is still just as bad, still up around 4 for a bottle :-( even after 3 meals and her usual bottles! So tonight I've given her half a weetabix before bed - dunno if this is the right thing to go but worth a shot!

luke has been off his food again today :(hes taking bottles fine but will not have food in his mouth at all and he wont settle thisevening so his teeth must be bothering him again, ive given him a few extra bottles to make up.

Hi ladies I hope everyone and everyone's little ones are well. Apologies I haven't been on for a few days. We have been having problems with both laptops and I have just managed to get time to fix mine tonight. x

Feeling slightly better now and managed to put all the stuff on eBay I bought the other day, so hopefully I will make some money. If not I'll not bother in future

I'm pleased you are feeling a bit better Kathryn. Good luck with Ebay. We are thinking of maybe doing a boot sale or some as the rate Joseph is growing he will be out of his 9-12 month stuff in no time x

Thanks, I'm actually thinking about atarting to go round nearly new sales an selling stuff on eBay. People sell things so cheaply that I'm sure I could make a profit on some of the things people give away so cheaply

Off work today! Oscar was a nightmare all night! Had 5oz at :

6.45
9.45
1.30
6.30

2 bowls of porridge at 8!

Has been sleeping for an hour but seems ok this morning so taking him to nursery when he wakes and I'm going to stay off work for the day - do some housework as this place is a pig sty after a week of being ill! OCD radar been going nuts- must de-bug lol!

Never made it shopping but have done an online asda order to arrive tomorrow so will make his meals in the evenings as most is just wack in a pot and cook in oven for a few hours!

I am so stressed since back at work! Can't find the time to do anything - feel I'm neglecting Oscar and he's not getting the care he deserves being at nursery - hubby and I actually ended up in tears chatting when he was asleep yesterday!
