How are all you new mummies doing?

Just sorted out Isabelle's clothes so we can move into 6-9 month. Thought would try her in a dress that says 12-18 month but looked quite small for that. It fits her around the neck, chest and waist although is a little long! We haven't got any other Primark clothes so don't know if they are always a bit on the small side? She still fits her 3-6 clothes so isn't a big girl. Very glad I tried it on her or it'd never have got worn!

Have realised we've got her far too many clothes again!

I usually find the primark fine sizewise (hubby works there so we buy a lot there lol) however i bought some tops there in 6-9 in a 2 pack and they were quite small

some of lukes 9-12 month stuff fits him

With my older kids I found things were fitting much earlier. But keep trying them. As they get older they tend to get leaner. I've got some gap denim skirts my older daughter wore at 12 months that I can't even get over Emma's thighs at the moment.

Today I decided to try dropping a bottle. Was easy as we were out and about so Emma was being entertained. Dropping the 10:30 bottle meant she ate better at lunch, finished her 2pm bottle and ate well at dinner too. She's hanging out for her 7 pm bottle now though.

I think primark does come up small - I don't buy to much from there but their vests Arnt that long in the body for Oscar (
Could be diff for other babies )

Spent over £80 at Tesco clothing sale today, d'oh! But got a few outfits in 6-9 months which is really needed as Hayley has hardly any 6-9 month stuff to move onto! She's fine in 3-6 at the moment at least heh

I spent £40 in the next sale in my slot. Emma lives in leggings and tunics, so got about 8 tunic tops in sizes up to 18 months. And also a dress and skirt for my 6 yr old, and a duvet set. But taking back the bits I bought earlier in the week - only 2 tops and a dress for Emma. so that's £20 back.

Mothercare has a sale on too but not too much that I need. Getting Luke some pj's and a rip for me on the tesco sale - yes ME lol

Who is it that loves campervans? Just ordered this for Xmas! Not in stock at the mo but so hopefully will come before Xmas! Plenty of time yet

That would be meee! my poor camper is going in the garage tomorrow for the winter :cold: :( back to my mini which I want to sell! I think I might break my back trying to get Stanley from out the back he weighs a tonne :wall2:

We went to baby social today and Stanley did some finger painting he did quite a good picture actually! I did try him with a paintbrush but he literally put the end covered in paint straight in his mouth so he was eating brown paint for a while! Thankfully it was non toxic!
I have just booked him on to this http://www.mess-around.co.uk
A couple of girls from baby social are going too!
Stanley's doing good still woke through the night I've put the heating on timer to come on around 2-3am
I give him an Ella's pouch chicken casserole as I wanted to try him with some meat and he really liked it.. Me and Chris tasted it though and it was rank!
He sits up unsupported now too and has done for the last few days or so :D

Here's a pic of his painting!

And this was him yesterday!

Money Is the worst thing about maternity!

Stacey he is too cute. Love his outfit

Bex hope your starting to feel better

Thomas was up at several points last night. Wide awake at 4.30 messing around in his cot. And then woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep so we've been up since 7 which is an hour and a half earlier than normal. Could really do with some decent sleep as I've still got this sore throat and banging headache

Tell him you've had a child together & it should be considered 'our' money now?

I never understand this separate money concept? We've had a joint bank account since we moved in. Chris' money covers the bills with some spare & add mine that's what we both have left to spend. Entirely no offence meant! People have their own reasons for doing it but it's something that completely goes over my head :)

He's always been like that we have joint ac n me n him put the same amount in each month to cover the bills n his money is his n mine is mine he's still got hump on this morning how he expects me to still pay half to bills and I pay 4 the car out if my money is beyond me he said if I spent less I'd still have redundancy left to pay in I have still got some left but don't want it all to go on bills! I'm going to kill him soon! Everything is really getting on too of me this then his family I've tried talking to him but get no response he's a good dad but not so good partner anymore just don't no what to do :-( xx

We have separate accounts too. I have an overdraft and credit card bills I don't feel comfortable him helping to pay for as that's my debt. Plus I feel like if we had joint money then I'd feel about every time I spent anything.

Only going to make £100 more a month than maternity once I return to work than I do on maternity.

We did have seperate accounts and then a joint account where we out money in for bills. Now though we share the joint account as my earnings are about a quarter of what they were while I was at work. I normally pay half of everything but hubby is paying Abit extra to overpay on our mortgage.

I like to have my own money that I've earnt as I feel guilty spending hubbies money normally as I haven't earnt it. Since being on mat leave though my mindset has changed slightly as Im starting to relax abit more about it being 'his money'
