How are all you new mummies doing?

I haven't moved to size 4's because I'm aiming to move to sippy cups. Not sure if I should get some now. Although he seems to be fine on 3's

Don't forget Oscar and Emma both on anti reflux milk though which is mega thick

Oscar has sippy cup with water in but bottles for milk and he will have milk in bottle for ages yet :)

Been a long day sorry haven't managed to read back through all of the posts! I've been helping my mam move some of my brothers stuff from one house to another today (he's moving house, but works away!) and then met up with some of my school friends two of which I hadn't seen for ages, I got to snuggle with a 4 week old baby girl who had the most thick black hair I've ever saw on a baby she was beautiful!! Spent about 3 and half hours catching up I really enjoyed it an we've arranged to meet on Monday.

Stanley had me up about 10x last night which is not like him at all, he wanted to be asleep but something was stopping him think he must be going through a growth spurt, I'd literally just fall asleep and he'd wake back up, hoping for a better night tonight.

Fingers crossed you get more sleep tonight Stacey! Emma's not been sleeping well lately. Although we are getting through to 5am the last few days. What a difference.

Have you all been selling baby stuff on eBay? I sold some of Emma's pramsuits/ snowsuits from when she was born. Sold 4 of them for £24, then had to pay £11 postage. Don't think it's worth the time, effort, fuel to get to the post office etc. some were gifts and not even worn!

Why not sell them on a local group - fb has them usually

I only sell stuff on eBay at a profit and I cost up the postage before hand to make sure I'm not being shafted. I sometimes sell on gumtree and sometimes on Facebook. If they're new I sell them on Amazon (like sippy cups, air mesh bumpers etc..)

Yeah I looked at those fb groups, but round here no one would entertain second hand. There's a lady who does nearly new kids clothes sales every few months. You hand over your items and she sells them for 10% of sale price. A friend had a call from her to come collect her items as no one would buy them. All gap/ jojo maman bebe / John Lewis stuff.

Might just hold on to it all for a while.

Hayley is on the size 4 teats and they are great! She's been on 9oz bottles for a while now and guzzles the full amount within minutes!

I've been giving Hayley her free flow beaker with water in but she was spits it all out - but she's never been keen to drink water.

Hayley was up a few times through the night again, but she's still suffering with the cold. She woke just before 2am and looked wide awake so I thought I'd have to go make a bottle, but she quickly nodded back off after giving her dummy a few times. She woke at 7am - took her down had a 9oz bottle, bum change and she's now fallen asleep in my bed beside me.

We seem to have hit a 6 month sleep regression. She's gone from sleeping through until sometime between 4-6 to waking between 1-3 and then again between 4-6. Tried for 45 minutes last night to get her back down without milk without success so I guess she's extra hungry at the moment. I blame her attempts to learn to crawl!

That said, she's only just woken back up, which is a good hour later than usual!

I woke up with a swollen face and wye almost swollen shut. Don't know what caused it - the only different thing us that my filling came out

Emma was up a lot in the night too. Think I got up about 10 times, and Chris got up quite a few times too. Just wish I could figure out why and fix it. She just needs her dummy put back in and she goes back to sleep. But this morning about 5 she also had a blocked nose so wouldn't take the dummy. Brough her to our room, bottle and she snuggled in under our duvet in her sleeping bag. And straight back to sleep till 7:30. So not sure if she's cold, hungry, just wants her dummy. Arghhh.

She's now napping again.

Penicillin and peanuts - it's a different side to my tooth otherwise I'd say maybe my face swelled a bit from my tooth

Can she find her dummy when she wakes up? Thomas puts his back in now so I make sure I leave it where he can see it. Maybe leave two in there?

Maybe an infection Jojo, some food may have gotten in your tooth without the filling there even though its the other side its all linked?

The snufflebabe dummy I got is really helping Hayley as shes all blocked up, but it's abit heavy so once she starts falling asleep she drops it. Then wakes and as soon as i put it back in her eyes roll and she goes to sleep. Just takes a while for her to actually nod off
