Ruri has been okay after all his jabs. Thank goodness! Did all of you get a 3 month health check with your HV? Mine here is so useless, all the other mums I know have had theirs and Ruri isn't booked in until he's 19 weeks!

So strange, wish they would just make it the same everywhere? The surgery I work in do a 3 month check. My HV is useless, according to my red book Ruri shrank 3cm, as she measured him wrong. I'm so upset my mum watched Ruri for half an hour today and he did his first proper laugh and I missed it !

I didn't realise they were meant to have a 3 month check :-S Maybe it depends on area? Last saw our HV 3 months ago. We go to clinic every few weeks though for weighing and general advice.

Yep he was 59cm when born but according to her at 6 weeks he was 56! She bloody measured him on my leather sofa so the thing wasn't straight at all. I know, OH got it on video but now is calling me stupid for being upset! So I'm sat feeling sorry for myself haha.

In my book it says we have a 3 month check but my Hv crossed it out and said they aren't doing it anymore in our area n if I had any problems to see her at clinic or ring xxx

If anyone is a costco member, I got a box of 21 ellas kitchen pouches for £9.97 which works out roughly 48p per pouch! They're the big ones too.

Also bought big bottles of fairy non bio & comforter which worked out a lot cheaper than the shops

I don't get a 3 month check either.. I just got told to phone if I need anything or call into one of the drop in sessions, I'm fine with this though I don't feel like we needed a 3 month check

I said yes thank you, that's why we chose it and may I have it back! Haha! I don't like her at all, I feel like she's always looking for fault rather than checking Ruri?

There's a Costco a couple of hours away from me and I'm desperate to go!! Is it easy to get a membership?

It says you have to work for certain companies (I work for local authority) & it's £25 to join then you renew at £10 per yr I think. I've got my card under my friends acc & it cost £14 so if you know anyone who's a member you could do that or just get them to take you...they can take 2 people in

couldn't agree more. I have serious reservations about the point of them (obv just my opinion). As far as i'm concerned i'm not going out of my way to talk to one and I certainly will be taking any further 'advice' with a massive pinch of salt.

Here's a question

Was looking at stage 1 Ella's kitchen pouches for inspiration in sainsburys earlier - why would the blueberry porridge one be stage one 6+ months but the others all stage one 4+ months? I didn't understand it

Needless to say they provided no inspiration lol - so I went and got a banana and a peach along with cat food and went to check out!
