How are all you new mummies doing?

So proud of my girl. She's self-settled after her night feeds the last 3 nights! Fingers crossed it's not just a blip.

Hayley is home from her dads. He said she slept fine in her cot around 7 til 6, I was rather nervous haha! So wish I could be a fly on the wall at his house when she's there

Phew just catching up! Had a lovely baby free day yest after her swimming so never stopped. I miss her like crazy but always feel more ready for her when I've had a break iykwim. It was the start of Edinburgh festival last night so went to see a comedian. I love the city at this time of year, the festival is brilliant! Went to see my friends new baby too who was born at 35 weeks on sat, he is just amazing, so tiny! Can't wait to sit S next to him

Lots of sleeping babies last night! S slept til 8 so that's good, hopefully she's back into her routine a bit.

On the af chat too, my doc told me not to bother waiting on it to start back my new combined pill so went back on. Took last tablet on wed so af is waiting to show anytime! First time since last May and I'm actually quite scared!!

My AF has been so odd since having Ruri. In fact this month it's hardly anything - I keep showing all the signs of starting but nothing much is happening!

We are taking my mum to Edinburgh in September for the weekend - will miss all the fringe fun but we've booked to take her on the underground ghost tour, eek!

After breaking up I've jsut stopped my pill so AF came but it wasn't normal heh. Don't know if I should just start taking my pill again so i know AF will come on my 7 day break? Or not to bother as obviously im not having any sex so might just let my body deal with my hormones myself

I think it's always good to let your body be without hormones if you can! I can't tolerate the pill etc at all, I've got the copper coil. The pill made me bleed and the injection made me gain so much weight!

Probably Jojo cause it's so 'normal' for people to use a hormone method of contraception. But if you can manage without it then I think that's a good thing

I don't really want enhance hormone based norh control until after my 2nd baby because I know a few people who have struggled to conceive after being on the pill and things. Plus I'd never remember to take it and I don't like the idea of coils and things so would probably never use anything. Me and hubby went 10 years without having a baby so we do ok I think

I havnt been on contraception for 5 years - avoided pregnancy well really - had an MMC 4 years ago which was an accidental pregnancy but apart from that I was so In tune with body I knew when to avoid sex - now I need to get something sorted for my skin more than anything

We lost a baby a few years back in October and looking back - we lived in a 1 bed flat, hubby didn't have a job and it just wasn't the time (was still gutted though) I might go on it after number 2

What's going on with your skin?

I'm so annoyed! Someone is trying to tell me it's totally okay for her babysitter to smoke weed while they're looking after he kids. Am I wrong to be outraged at that?
