How are all you new mummies doing?

Is anyone else's OH incapable of putting a toilet roll on a toilet roller holder or just mine? Arghh

Yes!!! And he sits on loo off a pooh - realises there isn't enough left and shouts me to get new loo roll out 3rd bedroom and pass to him!!

Hello mummy's :) I used to post on the pregnancy part of the forum but I've been so busy with my wee boy I've just been stalking! Ruri Douglas was born on the 7th of April and is just the love of my life! I'd have been so lost without this thread in our first four months!! Xxx

Hi! what a time to join, talking about toilet roll and poo! Haha. Glad we helped you :-)

Lol! I've just dealt with another of Ruri's teething nappies so poo is not a problem! Off to try and pick a highchair today - wish me luck!

I loved picking our highchair, was a minefield though as I'm not great when there's loads of choice. Good luck

I feel the exact same, plus where I live we don't have much choice at all? I've fallen in love with the OXO tot sprout but OH doesn't love the price tag :-P

I say go with what you love. We haven't scrimped on these things as we'll be using for baby no. 2 as well

I would love to go and see one but we've only got a tiny M&P here and a mothercare which doesn't have much choice! I've saved on everything else so far so I'd like one treat haha.

We renovated 2 and a half years ago and haven't put toilet roll holders in yet. But oh does use the roll gets a new one and just leaves the used roll by the toilet even though he could rach the bin!grrrr

Think Emma is fine after that fall. I was up half the night checking she was breathing. But she is waking at normal times, feeding fine so just glad we were lucky this time.

Glad Emma is fine :)

Chris does that too with the empty one, sometimes I shout him to come upstairs as if I need him and hand him it to take back downstairs with him haha

Sorry I probably should've said my real name! I'm Becca :) I'm 22 and I'm from the north of Scotland x

Glad Emma is ok and I hope you're having a nice holiday.

Becca I remember you swim the forum
I think :) nice to see you here

I took Luke swimming and no period leaks thank god lol - my section scar always stings and othes during monthly though. Luke slept so badly last night :) he hasn't slept through for weeks now! Shattered! What if he never reverts back? What if he never sleeps properly for years?!

Amelia slept through for the first time last night! 8:30pm- 7:30am. Now she can roll over she seems to like sleeping on her tummy. Just hoping it wasn't a one off!!

I'm sure he will Jojo, he's obv just going through a big leap/ growth period and it's unsettling him. I didn't sleep very well till I was 6 apparently but I had night terrors when I was little.

I hope so too :) it's nice when they sleep through - Luke slept through for months :(

Go Amelia!

Thomas seems to be in abit of a pattern, he's asleep now and is regularly sleeping 9.30pm to 8am

Go Amelia! Such a relief! I'm sure he will jojo, just a phase hopefully :-( tell him you will ground him for life if not!

I am stuffed!! Did you see my fb pic of my afternoon tea? I won it a fe weeks ago so even better, it was free! My best friend moves away on Sunday so cramming in as much as we can the next couple of days. Our first show of Edinburgh festival tonight too :-)

Glad Emma is ok too toria! You can hopefully relax now x
